She is scared can't you see,

Her eyes are wide and her face is white,

She is screaming but nobody can hear her,

The life she had is sucked out.

Slowly, inch by inch she grows taller,

Yet she grows fast into womanhood,

To fast, she has admirers,

They love her skin,

Her body,

The way she moves,

How she moves,

How she talks,

Her development into womanhood,

Not nearly over but only just beginning,

And she is scared.

She is young and has a full life ahead of her,

But a man wants to ruin it,

That precious life,

She is scared can't you see,

Her eyes are wide and her face is white,

She is screaming but he won't listen,

He never did.

And over and over she screams,

Until she decides to scream no more,

And lays there and lets it happen.

Night after day,

Day after night,

Her innocent body is frail and broken,

Yet all she does it let it happen,

So why doesn't she scream,

And why doesn't she shout.

Her brother would hear,

And so would her sisters,

So quiet and peacefully sleeping,

But she can't.

She wants to be loved and live life,

With the man who gave her life,

And these things were so wrong.

She knew but couldn't stop him,

She didn't know what to do.

Her eyes are wide and her face is white,

She is screaming but her daddy won't listen,

Her own daddy won't listen,

As he hears his baby,

Cry softly into the night,

Because of what he did,

Yet he still carries on.
