Whisper
The desperate girl stares in the mirror,
Twisted and distored reflection,
Bile rises up in her throat,
She is disgusted, wants no affection.
Darkness is hidden behind her eyes,
Depression and self hate consumes her inside,
She smashes it, shards in her arms,
Just one more thing for her to hide.
People start to look at her with pity,
"you're so pretty and thin,"
They can't see what goes on in her mind,
How she's destroying herself from within.
Her mother looks and is so jealous,
Is always telling her she's proud,
But the secrets just keep on growing,
she wount stop until she is found.
Her father looks on he doesn't see,
This one goal she's already set,
She won't eat today or tomorrow
She's on her goal to be perfect
So, as she whispers in her ear
Starvation is the only way
"Forever you will be mine -
Until your final day..."
