He meant the world to me
Made me smile
Made me happy

The realist thing in my life
Could not have broke me
Of my fantasy

I thought him real
I thought him kind
Only to find out he was a lie

All those words
Both spoken and unspoken

All of those promises broken
Left the girl hurting

How could he care today
But tomorrow laugh it all away

Why would something he said special
Turn into disgust in a fortnight
Why would he break something once so strong
And something that felt so right

Even though this girl mended herself
She still feels pain from the scar
Even though the heart is bleeding
And inside grieving
She is thanking the man
For letting her know
How evil males are

a/n: Different from the crayon poems, but I like this. There is more crayon poems to come...woo!
