There's a bit of story in here, and important things, so don't ignore this!
Hello there, to the people still reading. Um, well, this is not a real chapter. It's a little note telling you that I'm rewriting this. : (
I was rereading this and I cringed at a couple things and thought about where I wanted this story to go and how it wasn't going to work properly. Well, I decided I needed to fix a bunch of things, so I decided, before it got way too out of control I'd rework it. Haha.
But, it's not fair that you waited over a year for this to be updated just to find out it's going to be rewritten (with sporadic updates, it's how I am unfortunately) so I decided to give you a bit of what I already had down for the next chapter. Which was tentatively named "Hard Knock Life" which had Derek going to his school (FINALLY) the sounds of Asher and Ami screwing (eww, well not so ew, Ami and Asher are hott), and some Sca and Jeff interaction. (which I love) :D
Plus I was 16 when I started this and I am now 20. I'd like to think my writing has gotten just a tiny bit better. Along with my experience. I've had a lot more experience with Alcohol than when I started, so let's hope it'll be more realistic. XD hehe. Senior year… Um, okay.
If it makes anyone feel any better (don't know how this would, but it is a valid excuse) this year and a bit I've been away has been kinda hectic-ish. When I wasn't obsessive with fanfiction, I was trying (and still am) to find a job, my computer's hard drive went kaput, I went to my first anime con and cosplayed, my two BFF/cousins had babies, and there were two deaths in my family. Everything's okay though. Really. :D
Here's the bit of the chapter!
As I took the last drink of the energy drink, images of how low Jeff's hands could go crept into my mind. I groaned quietly to myself and ran a hand over my face. This was crazy.
I threw the can away mechanically and walked purposely and steadily down the hall. My mind had made itself up and I passed by my bedroom without a glance at my plain door.
I knocked quietly and firmly at the door to the spare room. The door opened to show an awake Jeff in only a pair of plaid pajama pants. I looked him up and down, then met his eyes. I was still damp from my shower, standing there in a thin tank top and comfy pajama pants. My hair was slowly drying, hanging around my face and slightly curling at random places. I couldn't look my best, but at the moment I didn't care.
I met Jeff's eyes and he slowly stepped back to let me into his room. "This isn't going anywhere besides physical." I said softly, looking around the room.
"I didn't expert anything else, Scarlet," Jeff replied.
"No one can know," I told him firmly.
Jeff smiled slightly at that and closed his door. "You don't have to tell me that, sweetheart. I've got more to loose than you do."
That night I found out exactly what Jeff could do with this hands and I learned a lot more than I had thought I would. I fell asleep that night exhausted and curled comfortably in Jeff's arms.
There ya go. Yes, Jeff and Sca totally did the dirty deed. Haha. Oh, I've got so much I wanna do with the rewrite. :D
The rewrite is called Dancing within Temptation and it going to earn its M rating. Haha.
And you guys deserve a bit more, so I'm going to show you a bit of the prologue for the new rewrite. :D It lets you look at Asher a bit more closely. Which is something I've wanted to do since I started writing Asher in Being There.
Asher Grayson had been to parties like the one he was in before and he was certain this wouldn't be his last. The room was a mix was serious talking business men and women and the moving, writhing bodies of dancers. He stood apart from them; drink in his hand, having no inclination to move to either one of the groups.
When a woman swayed her way over to him, he had been expecting it for quite some time. It happened like that every time he came. Asher would be the first to say that he, regrettably, enjoyed it.
Ami Wrimming wasn't the most beautiful woman in the room, but she was in the top twenty. Asher was sure if he waited just a bit longer he could have had one of the others, but there was no way to tell. There was something in the way the woman swung her hips, and looked into his eyes that swept the other chances he could have had away. It wasn't often that he found a woman who knew exactly what she was doing.
Over all it was a good night. Asher wished he could say that for what happened afterward.
So, yeah. Many things have been figured out in the story. Like the fact I actually know Asher's last name now. XD I seriously didn't know it before. Or Donna's and Jeff's which are now figured out too. XD
After this, I'm going to post the prologue of Dancing within Temptation. So…. Yeah. :D
Love,
Turdlock
