The woman groaned, rubbing her hand against her face as the other hand held her up on her side. The other person was slowly getting up herself. Both of the other girl's hands were on the ground on either side of her body, her legs pulling up in one quick fluid motion throwing her onto her feet. The girl looked down in a daze, smacking her hand against her face when she realized just whom she crashed into.
She shook her head in shame and quickly apologized, "Sorry, I'm so sorry. So, so, so, so, so, so, so-"
The woman interrupted, "It's fine, don't worry about it." She slowly rose herself but fell right back down, a groan escaping her lips.
The girl's eyes widened even more and gave the woman her hand, "Like I said I'm so, so sorry High Angel. Please take my hand."
The high angel accepted and the girl pulled her up in one quick fluid motion. "You can call me Shayla-"
"But you're a high-"
She interrupted her once again, "Just call me Shayla, High Angel's tacky and I just don't feel…" Shayla stopped speaking.
"Okay, I'll call you Shayla. Happy?" She nodded. "By the way I'm Yasheka, I really didn't mean to run into you. You see…Uh, never mind."
Shayla stared oddly at Yasheka before motioning her to help her to her quarters. The girl quickly obliged and helped the High Angel without a complaint.

They walked silently down the damp, musty hallways. Not noticing how the gloom surrounded them or how a strange fog clung to their feet. The turns became even more complicated and complicated that if you hadn't spent years learning the halls you would of gotten lost forever.
Yasheka walked closer to Shayla in fear of getting lost, these halls were usually forbidden to her and it was her first time there. She shivered, the halls seemed to get colder and colder. It almost felt like a cold winters day, one colder than usual. Her arms wrapped themselves around her slender body in a desperate attempt at warmth.
"Eh?" Shayla let out as she turned her head back to see the shivering young girl a few paces behind her. "Cold?" she pointed out the obvious. Yasheka nodded dumbly while rubbing her arms trying to get warm. "Hm, I guess it is a bit of a chill."
"No really?" Yasheka replied.
"Oh you'll be fine," Shayla told her, "But if it's that much of a problem here," with that Shayla muttered something unintelligible and tossed a cloak at the girl.
A gasp of surprise escaped her lips as she reluctantly withdrew an arm and caught it. "Thanks," she muttered as she pulled it around her body, grateful for the sudden warmth.
Shayla smirked not unkindly but it disappeared an instant later. She sighed and continued walking, they were almost there to her room. 'Only another few minutes…' she thought to herself.
VOVOVOVOVO
7 minutes later…
"Alright we're here," Shayla announced as she stopped in front of the third door they passed. It was made of a dark musty wood that seemed to be decaying. The outer walls were an aging stone that was damp since they were on the lower parts of Heaven, in other words the bottom of it. The only thing below it was the sealing floor, the place of sealed demons and the worst of the fallen angels.
"Huh? This can't be your room, it looks a lot like mine and you're a High Angel," the young girl said as she stopped walking.
A frown painted itself on Shayla's usual emotionless face, well almost emotionless one. "Why can't it? If you know anything I'm basically one of the angels responsible of making sure none of the sealed escape, am I not?" The girl nodded about to ask another question but Shayla interrupted her, "Besides it's much cozier inside."
"It is? I see, I guess…" Yasheka said quietly.
"Not all is as it seems young one," Shayla stated before removing a set of keys from her cloak. The key ring seemed rusted as she rummaged through them to find the right key. "Hmm now which one was it…" she said quietly as she checked each one.
Yasheka leaned against the wall closet to the door muttering, "This is going to take forever." A sigh escaped her lips as she put one leg on top of the other and put her hands behind her head.
Another minute or passed before anything happened, "Eureka! Here it is!" Shayla exclaimed when she pulled out a silver key. Shayla took a few steps to the door and inserted the key quickly unlocking the door. As she started pushing the door open she stopped and turned to Yasheka. "Why were you in these halls?" Any humor or joy gone, replaced by seriousness.
Surprise flickered on her face, "Um, uh, I got lost?" She quickly responded.
"Why do I seriously doubt that? If you were lost you wouldn't have been running that fast or be that frightened. Yes I saw that in your eyes maybe only for an instant but it was there none the same."
The girl nodded quickly, "I hate getting lost especially in huge places such as these, and I got scared cause I thought I'll never find a way out." 'Well, that's at least partly true,' she thought to herself. 'I just can't let her know the whole truth.'
"One problem with your excuse girl, this area is forbidden to all but High Angels and a few others." Yasheka was about to say something but Shayla quickly continued, "Don't say you didn't know even the newest and lowest of Angels know that simple fact. Don't give me pathetic excuses tell me why you're here or I'll find out myself. It won't be hard, all I have to do is ask Eon or maybe that…"
Yasheka gulped, "Okay I'll tell but don't get Eon or that witch of a woman Kalona." Shayla stared harder onto Yasheka making her say more. Yasheka spoke coldly, "I was framed."
Nothing showed on Shayla's face as she asked, "So you framed and I can't ask either Eon or Kalona, interesting. Here's another question, why would they frame you and for what? You don't seem very high up the latter."
A blank cast covered her face, emotionless…cold. She stood up straight arms crossing each other, the cloak falling to the ground. In the same cold voice she simply said, "I was framed for doing something unspeakable, something that gets angels marked fallen giving them a one way ticket to hell. I was framed for attempting or actually stealing one of the great treasures of Heaven. It's one of the most powerful, most deadly, it's the one known as Avonlea."
A/N: Sorry it's so short! But hey, maybe it'll get longer next time. R&R!
