The sunshine was seen in the sweet morning's grace
A kiss so loving was placed on his face
The heavenly, misty morning dew
Replaced all the pain that she had once knew

A day's work, a night's strain had finally gone
So she slept, knowing that her work was done
The tiny new bundle next to her heart

This emotion so solid, not having to roam
Had easily found a place in her home
A month he could see, six more he could crawl
A year had gone by, he walked big and tall
His voice, laugh, smile, and talk
Measured to him like they did his walk
To grow, and he grew, like all children do

School, practice, friends, sports
No time to talk and all other sorts
From crushes, to girls, to dating, marriage
He was too big now to push in a carriage
Her love as a mother came from her core
