Venom of Your Love
Serpents tail, serpent's eyes,
A serpents forked tongue kiss.
How can you lie to me so much,
For me to believe this is bliss?
A tightened hold,
Your serpents body coils,
Around my beating heart.
Fangs that drip with venom,
Dig deep into my soul,
A deadly poison,
That some call love,
Seeps into my veins.
And I can ignore it.
Because it's a serpent that I love,
I can expect no love in return.
A serpent's love that kills me,
But I just choose to burn.
