Separating the Were from the Wolf.

Her tears are falling, like the first flakes of snow,

Softly fading away,

I touched her, but her cheek was icy cold,

Softly fading away,

In the soft snow of her sorrow,

We played a game – she'd never know,

The game we played was bloodshed,

The game she'd never forget,

And we stained the snow like a black hand,

(But the hand it wasn't black)

On closer inspection the hand was red,

(The colour of our bloodshed)

In the world of her tears, her snow,

What if I don't ever want you to go?

You're tearing at my comforting arms,

I'm dying, whilst trying, to keep you from harm,

But how could I ever let you go

In that world of her tears, the world of her snow?

Because my scars need the claws that made them to ever heal.

Her hand is reaching out to you, like an opportunity,

Softly fading away,

I wrap my arms around you and pull you back towards me,

Softly fading away,

In the soft snow of her sorrow,

We played a game – she'd never know,

The game we played was bloodshed,

The game she'd never forget,

And we stained the snow like a black claw,

(But the claw it wasn't black)

On closer inspection I never wanted you to go,

(The colour of your retreating back)

In the world of her tears, her snow,

What if I don't ever want you to go?

You're tearing at my comforting arms,

I'm dying, whilst trying, to keep you from harm,

But how could I ever let you go

In the world of her tears, the world of her snow?

Because my scars need the claws that made them to ever heal.

And my were needs her wolf if she can ever be real.

My tears they fall with hers,

Frozen by her cold,

My icy tears fall on your wolfen skin.

Your blood it mingles with my own,

Frozen by her tears,

My icy cold falls on your wolfen skin.

In the soft snow of her sorrow,

We played a game – she'd never know,

The game of loss and pain and death's white remedy,

The game she'd lose into her memory,

And we stained the snow,

We stained the snow with a wolf's white kiss,

Black kiss,

Red vampire kiss,

In the world of her tears, her snow,

What if I don't ever want you to go?

You're tearing at my comforting arms,

I'm dying, whilst trying, to keep you from harm,

But how could I ever let you go

Into the world of her tears, her bloody snow?

Because my scars need the claws that made them to ever be healed.

We lie deep in her bloody snow,

Her bloody snow,

Her red white snow.

We're buried deep in her bloody snow,

Her bloody snow,

Her black white bloody snow.
