Essays from a Hidden American
Volume #1: America as a Whole
Something I have wanted to do for a while, write a series of political discussions that do not follow the rules, that talks about the points of the event and says it in my point of view on the topic. I am, however, doing this with Bishop Tomb, and we will be 'nerding it out' as we call it on these topics. They may not be the same chapter or the same time, but they will be about the same topics.
America, as we see it is falling apart. And the rest of the world seems to want that to happen. America is falling apart and we don't even need to let the other countries to bring it down, we are doing it ourselves. We can't determine whether to stay in Iraq or not, to do anything about the oil prices, and -heck- we keep blaming our president for everything.
First off, the Iraqi problem, point number one; originally we went their because we thought they were hiding Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD), point number two; he wouldn't let us come investigate, even though he said he would after the gulf war, point number three; HE WAS USING THE WMD's ON HIS OWN PEOPLE! And the last point is; the people of Iraq WANTED us to be there, because their leader was gassing them if they did not listen to him.
So we went there for several good reasons, but the people of America got mad. Why, I have no idea, but if they are mad now they would have been mad later, if we did not go there originally, the populace would have demanded that we go there right there and then. Bush mad a good move by going to Iraq then by stopping Iraq from using the WMD's against us. Want ANOTHER 9ll? I didn't think so.
Now, the gas prices, there was a something on the news that I'm sure you all know about, if you don't, I'll tell you. The gas prices have dropped, again. And right before a vote. And Bush is being blamed for, somehow!, asking the for the barrel prices to drop so that the republican will be voted for. But how does he get every single company, even Citgo, which is run by the Venezuelan government to get the gas prices to fall. But didn't the Venezuelan President called Bush the devil? Why would the Venezuelan President help Bush, when he called him the devil?
Basically, most Americans are idiots. I'm sorry but it is true. Actually more often than not, people who partake in political discussions are just ignorant, and what more, they are ignorant to there ignorance! Hispanic Americans, which is what they should be called, keep saying that they are Mexicans, not Hispanic. Were they born in Mexico? If they were then, yeah, I'll admit that they were Mexicans, were. They are now citizens of America therefore they are AMERICANS!There is more, but since I live in the south I experience this first hand. Just makes me mad how they come here, most of the time they were born here, and they honestly think they aren't, Americans? I just think that is nuts. I know I am generalizing but I kind of have to.
So that brings me to the future. People get mad at us, wheatear we help them or if we leave them alone. We should just protect our borders and leave the rest of the world behind, except one thing, we are dependant on the rest of the world. So we are stuck, here close to civil war and most likely a global war. All because we can't think for ourselves and think that Bush is the problem of everything.
