24A Helping Hand
Rest of the week past by quickly which was leading to the weekend that Estelin, Link and Luke were going to be going to Heaven Can Wait to volunteer as well as Claire had a new horse that she wanted Estelin to try and work with.
Buzz, Buzz was the sound of the alarm clock going off that was sitting on the mahogany side table that was on Estelin's side of the bed.
Estelin saw that Link was having a bad dream. She then rested her hand on his shoulder and licked his cheek. Link then swung a fisted hand towards Estelin's stomach, which would have hit had Estelin not grabbed this fist. Link then stirred from his nightmare and rolled over.
He then saw a look of shock on his wife's face. "I am so sorry Estelin hun, I did not mean to attack you," He told her as he pulled his fist away.
"Its ok I know you were having a nightmare and it was my fault that you swung the fist," Estelin told him with a kiss.
"I did not hit you? I did not harm you or our child did I?" Link questioned.
"No you didn't. We are both fine," Estelin told him as she rested her hand back on his shoulder. "We should go and get dressed and everything ready to head over to Claire's," She told her husband as she got up out of bed.
"OK but I do not want you over working yourself or putting your self in any danger." Link said as he got up out of the mahogany bed and got dressed.
It was an hour later when Luke met at the garage where Link and Estelin were putting their things in the hummer to head over to Heaven Can Wait to help.
"How are you feeling today Estelin?" Luke questioned his sister in-law as he was worried about her and his future niece or nephew.
"I and the unborn child are great," Estelin replied. "I am sure lucky having two males being super protective of me," She said with a smile.
"Well its not our fault that we love and care for you and our future child," Link stated.
"I know just don't fully fuse over me or I wont even be able to breath," Estelin stated with dominance in her voice.
"Yes your majesty," Luke replied with a slight bow.
"I can't promise anything as you are breathing, eating and living for two lives right now," Link said. "But I will try for you hun."
"Ok I guess I can accept that." Estelin replied.
"So how is Sophia doing little brother?" Link asked Luke as he looked in the review mirror.
"She is ok." He replied. "She apologizes that she hasn't been able to come to work but the whole family is sick so she has been having to take care of them as well as she is not feeling to good her self," Luke told Estelin.
"That's fine, I just hope that her family get well. Any ways I don't think my parents or even Mr. Possessive protector over in the drivers seat wants anyone sick in the place," Estelin told her brother in-law.
"She is right there is no way anyone sick or that has been in contact with anyone sick is allowed in." Link told his baby brother.
After another 15 minutes of driving they had reached Heaven Can Wait Equine Rescue. They just pulled into the driveway when Estelin said, "Well here comes Claire, we should go and see what needs to be done," Estelin replied as Link parked the hummer beside the house.
"Good morning your majesty, Link, Luke, and how are you all today," Claire asked as she reached the hummer.
"We are good thank you and please just call me Estelin like you always have," Estelin said as she yawned.
"You seem a bit tired dear sister in-law," Luke replied as he kept noticing how often Estelin kept yawning.
"Yes well you would be to Luke if your bed mate kept moving with nightmares all night," She told Luke.
Estelin then turned back to face Claire and asked, "What still do you need done that the guys and I can do?"
"Well we are just about to do Acorns feet if you want to help," Claire answered.
"Sure that would be fine," Estelin stated.
"I don't think you should Estelin, not with your condition," Link said as he rested a hand on her shoulder to stop her.
"There is nothing wrong with me helping with Acorns feet, I have done it loads of times before," Estelin stated.
"Yes but I cannot risk you getting kicked in the stomach," Link told her.
Luke and Claire were just standing there watching the queen and her husband arguing when Estelin said, "Look Link hun I may be pregnant but I am not stupid and I still need to take some risks or I wont be a happy camper, since you are hardly letting me do anything." Estelin's eyes were slowly turning a bit darker red.
"Wait what you pregnant Estelin?" Claire asked.
"Who is pregnant?" Daphnia asked.
"Yes I am two months pregnant," Estelin stated.
"Congratulations you majesty, you parents and grandparents must be proud," Daphnia, replied. Daphnia was a woodland elf from her grandparent's city.
"Yes they all are excited." Estelin replied. "Well let us go and get acorns feet done, and then I will go and work with the new horse that you wanted me to work with Claire."
"Ok, Ramsay is the bay in the stall that is in the first stall," Claire replied. "We are going to do his feet in the stall." She told Estelin.
"Ok that is fine with me," Estelin told them.
They had just finished the front two feet when Estelin was starting to feel nauseas. "Stop please." Estelin said out loud as she turned to face Corby but no one heard her.
"Stop now Corby," Estelin yelled. This got everyone's attention as she ran out of the barn just in time as she threw up in a corner of the alley way.
Link was about to go after her when Laura stepped up and said, "I will go after her and see if she is all right." With that she left the barn. "Your majesty are you alright?" Laura questioned as she knelt down beside Estelin.
"I am fine I just did not eat today that's all," Estelin said to Laura hoping she would buy it.
"Your caring Link's child are you not?" She asked her queen.
"How did you know?" Estelin Questioned.
"Did you forget that I am a vampire?" Laura questioned with a bow to Estelin.
"Yes I guess I did," Estelin admitted. "But how could you tell?"
"I could hear all the heart beats in the barn and I hear one extra heart beat that was faint. As well as I heard when you told Claire." Laura replied.
"Ah I see," Estelin replied. "I am just glad that I just threw up bile and what ever was in my stomach and did not bring up any blood like I have been."
"Lets go back in now and finish Acorns feet." Estelin said.
"Ok but don't over do your self," Laura told her.
"I know Laura. I already have Link and Luke being protective over me especially Link I can hardly do anything with out clearing it by him, Its like I can't even breath with out asking him," Estelin replied.
"Ok lets finish Acorn," Estelin said as she reentered the barn.
"Are you ok Estelin?" Claire asked.
"Yes I am fine now," Estelin replied.
"I am sorry Estelin that I did not stop when you asked the first time," Corby apologized.
"Its ok, don't worry about it," Estelin told her with a pat on the shoulder.
"I guess I should tell you since everyone else here knows Corby, Link and I are expecting a child in seven months," Estelin replied.
"Really congratulations," Corby replied.
"Thanks, also there is something that Link, Laura and I should tell you," Estelin told Claire and Corby. "Just hold on one second I need to make sure everything is ok and that no one will over hear us," As she stepped out of the barn. "Ok its all clear," Estelin told everyone in the barn as she reentered it.
"Ok now what is it that you would like to tell us Estelin?" Claire questioned.
"Well you see Laura, Link and I are supernaturals, also I am not only Queen of humans but of all creatures. That is why you will see animals bowing down to me." Estelin replied.
"Yah right," Corby said with a laugh.
"Ok, so if you are supernaturals then what are you all?" Claire curiously questioned.
"I am a vampire," Laura replied.
"I am a vampire werewolf hybrid," Link replied.
"I myself am a vampire werewolf hybrid, dragon, Phoenix, elf, mermaid, forest guardian," Estelin said with a nod. "I am also the ultimate queen of both human realm which is my mothers realm, and the realm of supernaturals, mythical and regular creatures."
"If that is true your majesty then can you prove it," Claire replied.
"I will but once Tobias leaves," Estelin told her.
"What do you mean there is no one named Tobias here," Corby said a bitterly. At that Estelin's Uncle Tobias walked in to the barn
"Hello I am here to see Claire about a horse, oh hello niece," Tobias said as he looked at the group gathered in a corner talking waiting for appointments to come.
"Hello uncle Tobias," Estelin said with a deep growl.
"I am Claire," Claire replied as she walked over to Tobias. "I can't remember what kind of horse are you looking for again?"
"I am looking for a dead broke horse, that is at least 16 hands high, that can do everything, and black" He replied.
"I am sorry uncle but there is no horse like that here," Estelin stated as she stood beside Claire.
"Oh well ok then I will return another time," Tobias replied and then left the barn.
"Excuse me for a minute," Estelin replied as she left the barn with a growl.
"I am going to grab the new mare to work with," Corby said.
"I would not do that until Estelin says it is clear out there," Link said as he stepped out of the barn and stood in the door and watched to make sure nothing happened.
Estelin then reentered the barn and replied, " I am sorry guys but that was my uncle and he is trying to take over the world and bring chaos with it. Thank you for not leaving, as I did no know what would have happened."
"It was no problem but I am now going to go and catch the filly," Corby replied.
"Ok I will see you in a few minutes," Estelin told her."
5 minutes latter Corby returned mumbling about how she could not catch the new filly that was from the local weekend auction.
Estelin took a lead off the hook and headed to the door and said, "I will go and fetch Lottie Da."
Link let out a low growl as Corby whispered, "Empty handed," which was low enough that only Link and Laura heard as well as Estelin who was out side the barn door.
Estelin then headed out to the field to grab Lottie Da the new filly. When Estelin was a half way in the field she called out to Lottie who lifted her head and cantered over to her.
Everyone was at the door as watching as Estelin walked back to the barn with Lottie Da following behind her.
"Now what is it you would like me to do with Lottie Da, Claire?" Estelin said as another wave a nausea. With that she ran out of the barn again and threw up this time not just bile but also blood.
Link then went and followed her to make sure she was ok. "Sweet heart are you ok?" With that Estelin fainted.
At that everyone came running out of the barn to see Estelin in Links arms.
"What happened to Estelin?" Luke asked as he looked at his sister in-law with a concerned look.
"We need to take her home and call Dr Cera and have her come and check and make sure Estelin is ok." Laura replied as she smelt the blood that Estelin had brought up but it did not smell right.
With that they all put the horses away and Laura, Luke, and link with Estelin in his arms climbed into the hummer while Claire, Corby and Daphnia climbed into Claire's truck and drove to the palace.
When they reached the palace Dr Cera as well as Jean, Joe, Scott, Avory, Ian, Zaphire, Gloria Estel, and Darion were waiting at the door. For Link to come with Estelin.
