Of the Sea
Toss me into the ocean,
With nothing but my soul.
Bid me goodbye as the church
Bell rings its final toll.
Listen for the splash
For I assure you it'll come.
It shall signify my death,
Something none can fathom.
Shout those three words
As the salt stings your cheeks.
The words I've been longing to hear,
The three words everyone seeks.
Then gently caress the water,
That silently holds me now.
And remember me dear,
For as long as time will allow.
