Chapter 11

"Sen honey, Sarah's here." My Dad shouted up the stairs.

"Send her up." I answered yelling back. A few seconds later she came into my room.

"Oh my God how was Kill Hannah?" she asked a huge smile breaking over her face as she came to sit cross legged on my bed.

"Sarah I need to tell you something,"

"Sure what is it?"

"You can't tell anyone what I'm about to tell you, promise?"

"Yeah I promise, what is it Sen?"

"You see the thing is we didn't go to the club last night-"

"But your Dad's the manager."

"Please Sarah this is hard enough already can I tell you without you interrupting?"

"Yep." She made a gesture, which seemed like she was locking her mouth up and throwing away the key.

"Well I found out what happened to my grandmother…" and I proceeded to tell her about what had happened all those years ago. Sarah was being the perfect audience, gasping, aww-ing and crying in all the right places and I loved her for it.

"So you mean to tell me that your auntie shot your grandmother in the heart and some of your uncles gang dumped it."

"Basically…yes."

"I just can't believe they always seemed so nice." We sat in silence for absolutely ages before she said something.

"I know this has nothing to do with the-what we've been talking about but Jordan's broken up with Veronica." She said tapping her fingers against her hip.

"So…" I said icily.

"Hey, I'm only passing on what I've heard." She defended standing up, "Come on anyways I said we'd meet the guys in BECCAS for pancakes." I sighed and stood up casually walking towards my dresser, "Oh yeah, and ask your parents if you can come to the beach with us."

"Why are we going to the beach?"

"You'll see." I grabbed some clothes and walked into the bathroom grumbling about her lack of details.

I waved at the guys through the window, Paul was with Ashleigh, and they were groping each other. Tie and Mel were also sitting at the table talking to each other engrossed in each other's eyes. Mat was with his new boyfriend, who knew he was gay? Shawn was making eyes at Sarah through the window. I laughed at their apparent affection and shoved her through the door, but it was then that I noticed him. Jordan was sat there picking at whatever was on his plate looking forlorn; I looked at his empty expression and couldn't help but feel a little sympathy. That was until he looked up and gave me that cocky smirk, I glared in return and looked at all the full seats all accept the one next to him. I growled at my friend's obvious attempts to get us on good terms with each other, but since it was the only seat I had to sit down.

"Hey Sen," he said pathetically smiling down into my eyes, I played the ice queen and scowled back, "So how have you been?"

"A damn site better than you." I answered picking up the menu.

"That's a bit harsh." He looked down at the menu with me our heads almost touching.

"You don't even know what harsh is." I put the menu down and moved my head away less than subtly.

"I'm really sorry Sen," He whispered beckoning over a waitress.

"Can I take your order please?" I told her what I wanted and Sarah ordered too before I answered him.

"So, it doesn't excuse what you did." I kept my gaze down.

"Sen for crying out loud can't you forgive me?"

"No!" I exclaimed quietly, "I can't forgive you because you hurt me."

"I know." He was admitting defeat far too easily, "I just need you back." He murmured lifting a hand, reminding me of what happened that Friday night in the club.

"I don't need you." I lied dramatically and his hand dropped and he looked like he was about to cry. We sat amongst the couples, who were snuggling contentedly with each other, in silence not uttering a single word to each other. I finished my breakfast in silence and I didn't look at Jordan not even a glance. Okay so that was a total lie, I glanced whenever I knew he wasn't looking he looked the same. Same jaw, same nose, same adorable eyes, same hair.

Jesus Sen snap out of it. This is Jordan, the guy that broke your heart, who ran off with his ex, who kissed you at the corner of your mouth, who agreed to take it slow with you who…who you fell in love with.

"Come on guys lets go to the beach." Sarah said dragging Shawn to his feet, while the rest of us slowly followed.

As I manoeuvred my way around the chairs out at odd angles from the table, I stumbled, and began to fall. I closed my eyes awaiting the final thud and the pain. It never came and I have to say I was overjoyed at that. The only thing I wasn't overjoyed at was the person who caught me. Jordan was holding onto me tightly, his hands gripping my waist like I was his only contact with life.

"Let me go!" I snapped standing up straight and hurrying out of the café, covering my embarrassment with anger.

"You okay Sen?"

"I not going to the beach if he is.

"Why not, I thought you were over him?"

"I hate him, I am over him but I can't just forgive and forget."

"I understand, you can come in the car with Shawn and me if you want."

"Thanks."

A/N - It's ages since I've updated and I know what I want to write but I don't want to put it in until the next chapter so I had to find a way to round this one off first lol.
