The discouraging lies have forgiven,

Foretoken the flame's jovial light,

Dropped it into poverty,

Chastised it through the night.

Landed in a heartthrob,

Satisfied the lonely,

Crucified the righteous,

Horrified our sight.

Set in suicidally,

Charred our sweetness bridily,

Innocence left us desirably,

Embraced our pure souls tight.

Spirits leave our bodies,

Minds struggle to set things right,

The discouraging lies have forgiven,

Our humanity gives up the fight.
