All of my life

A passive struggle

A bright white canyon

A valley of stars

I walk or I wander

Beyond my conscious mind

Amongst the leaves

And vines, and the moon as well

And she is dear to me

I regard her as a companion

But I'll never admit it to her

Instead I'll cough a fit

A passive struggle

A bright white canyon

A valley of stars

When do you start seeing

Every time you look about?

When does hearing become listening?

When will I become what I am?

Who beckons the winds

That carry the frozen snows it them?

As they pass through

A bright white canyon

A valley of stars

With a weary smile and ragged lines

Looking through someone else's eye

A breath and a laugh sound the same

In you sleep

And in your most colorful dreams

While you float away amongst

A valley of stars

All of my life

A passive struggle

A bright white canyon

A valley of stars
