Snowflakes

Shimmering wet stars

None are ever the same

Not able to be caught in jars

Never to be tame.

Makes the world new

With glittering fresh ground

Like a heavy layer of dew

A winter wonderland has been found.

Bundling up it's time

To go have a fun play

Not listening to reason or rhyme

Until it's the end of the day.

Hot chocolate always waits

While wet stars become quiet

Being very silent baits

For that long planned diet.

Morning brings the sun out

Melting the wet stars out of sight

Bringing sadness and doubt

Until silent snowflakes fall at night.
