Vampire: Chapter 1
Once again, I am being moved to another family. This flow of moving and being with another family has been going on since me very young, when my destined curse appeared. I remember what my first adoptive mother said to my,
"It's not that your mommy and daddy didn't want you, they wanted a better life, for you, of course." she stuttered and the end with a nervous laugh. A better life for me? No, it was because they could have such an unusual child. One cursed because of their ignorance. Oh, they knew I would be different; it was their fault after all. They played fait, trying to make the perfect daughter, only for their own benefit. A simple task, trying to raise their status, ended with me. The town witch, as they called her, heard of what they wanted and told them she could make it possible. Ignorant fools! They couldn't leave fait alone. They decide the tango was a better choice than the waltz. Believing her simple statement they took the antidote. She laughed her laugh of success, cursing their child because fait doesn't like to tango. Only to bad they relived this all too late. I was born with a full head of long deep black hair, white-blue eyes, and oh yes those teeth. That's what scared them the most, those sharp teeth. It was all too unusual for a child to be born with these features. My parent and the doctors decided it'd be best to put me up for adoption, get rid of the monster. To cover it all up they made up the story that I was born dead so the town's people wouldn't get suspicious. To keep everything quiet in the perfect town.
