Part 3
Cindy went swimming at the beach while Recardo is cooking rice with fish in it. It was his personal recipe. She was gone past sundown. Recardo started worrying about Cindy, so he walked down to the beach to check on her. Cindy lay in the sand, soaked. Her hair was in her face. Her eyes were closed and her body was pale in the moonlight. The waves washed over her body.
"Cindy". Recardo ran over to her. "No, Cindy! Please be all right." There was no answer from her. Drawing on his physical and emotional strength, he carried Cindy to a doctor. The doctor said she had a severe concussion, and was in a coma. He also said that it was unlikely that she would ever wake up. The doctor told Recardo she had probably hit her head on a rock while swimming.
Recardo sat by her sleeping body throughout the night. He couldn't lose her, he couldn't. Life wouldn't have any meaning without her. At three in the morning, the doctor came in and said that he would take care of her personally and Recardo should go home. He left the doctor's office with his eyes filled with tears. He was so close to putting another picture on his nightstand.
A/N: Sorry folks, short chapter. Most of them will be short, but it's an easy read. I will write another story later for the more complex thinkers. Maybe someday in the future I'll beef up the story with more detail. This, you could almost call an outline its so short!
