Light to Darkness

I sit in my world alone in my darkness,

I hunger for love,

I cry for light to enter my life,

A light appears,

A shadow figure,

He picks me up and holds me tightly,

He says he loves me,

I think I love him,

I get a call,

A dagger through my heart,

My love is dead,

I returned to my darkness,

My tears are my life now,

I scream out "I'm coming!",

I take the blade that I once used,

I slit my wrist,

I'm surrounded in blood,

Blood flows out like tears down my face,

I returned to my love,

Or so I thought,

I committed a sin,

Now I walk the earth,
Alone in my sorrow,
