(Bo's Point Of View)

I ran my hand through my hair nervously as I walked to class. Tonight was very important and yet I was very excited. I slid into my desk in the back of my 5th hour class. I leaned back on the hind legs of my chair. I rested the back of my head on the wall as I glanced over to my lanky brown haired friend Aaron. He and I have been friends since the third grade and now in the 11th grade nothing seems to be even close to changing.

Curtis Flopped down beside with a groan as he folded his arms and his head hit his arms with a soft thud. I raised a brow at him and was about to ask what his grief was but my attention was quickly to Jet as he bounced in and pounced into the chair in front of me and was quickly sitting in front of me backwards in his chair.

"Bo…what's up with you and Elaine?!" he asked me excitedly as I just raised a brow as if I didn't know what he was talking about. "I SEEN you leaving the party with her so don't give me that look…" he said and all I could do is sigh an give him a cheesy 'I don't wanna really tell you' smile.

"Well…" I started; choosing my words carefully was wise. They were like vultures when it came to news about my most recent fling. The last girl I slept with, ended up turning into a so-called school slut after divulging the adventurous night we had had.

"We just hung out…" I said admitting very little to the nosy Jet, of course I knew Aaron was listening, as was Curtis I'm sure, they are always so interested in the number of notches in my bedpost.

"What, are you take every girl in school till there no more virgins left?" Jet said this JUST as the room quieted and the teacher walked in. I stifled a laugh as the teacher pointed at him and said she wanted to see him after class. I snickered as the teacher turned her back.

"See what you get for sticking your nose….", I said just as the teacher snapped around and pointed to us. And said for us to go to the principle's office. We groaned and Jet picked up his shoulder bag with punk patches sewn all over it. He and I were always getting into all sorts of trouble all the time. The secretary knew us on a first name basis and shook her head when she seen us walk in. I laughed as I walked behind Jet I had just noticed how his ass sways when he walks and I couldn't help but crack up.

We got our per typical one day suspensions and headed out after stopping by my locker. My eyes gently scanned his lanky frame; out of everyone I was the most muscular. We then took up our posts on the hood of my car as we decidedly waited for the other, as we always did. We sat there, my radio now drifting from the car. Our conversations are usually light and playful but there is nothing but what seems like a comfortable silence. As I glance at Jet his fiddling with his shirt and his deep brown eyes had been fixated on me and now are staring at the pavement of the parking lot looking a little on edge.

I raised my brow and he could almost tell I was looking at him now and he looked up at me. His eyes were locked on mine, I never realized how his eyes were almost the color of chocolate with touches of gold in his eyes, they were very unique compared to my almost eyes that were brown but seemed almost black at times.

"Bo..." he started tentatively his eyes falling back to the pavement.

"I like you..." he said gently looking up for my reaction.

"I like you too", I said with a chuckle, thinking he was joking or just trying to be sentimental. His face went into a look of shock but then he spoke again.

"No, I like you a different way", he said and the smile faded from my face as I became confused. Jet COULDN'T be gay...could he?

It was then Jet's hand went behind my neck and he pressed his to mine. I froze at this. I had never kissed a guy before; Id never even questioned it, seeing as I really enjoyed girls, too much sometimes. His lips were oddly soft. I pulled away with a look of utter shock and confused by his actions. Just then the dismissal bell rang and he jumped up shoving his hands into his pockets and mumbling about a lot of things I couldn't make out except 'see yah at practice' and he left. He lived about 20 blocks from the school so I wasn't too concerned
