"Your grandfather died this morning"

Just brought an onslaught of tears

Choking down sobs,

Until I could get off the phone

Falling out of the chair

After hanging up the phone

And wrapping my arms around the kitchen table

All I could manage to do

Couldn't even think

Of anything

Except of the words

"Your grandfather died this morning"

I'm scared that phrase is going to be burned into my mind forever

i think the beginning chapter is kind of sucky, but this gets better as it progresses in my opinion

so if you dont like the first chapter, at least glance through the rest
