In the year 3000 AD, the world is in total chaos and wars threaten the remaining living people. Scientists and technicians all pitched in one last effort to rid the Earth of the errors mankind has made by starting anew. Every fit human being was place in ten ships, and the scientists released the Impact. It destroyed the Earth in an hour, but due to the right calculations, the intensity reconstructed the planet back within a day. Everything on Earth was gone, and a new planet was born. Big, lush trees blanketed the new continents, while crystal clear water filled the gaps. Engineers and workers were sent down to synchronize Project SORA. Three years later, organisms have already developed into the new planet, and Project SORA was successfully set up. The planet was now surrounded by a clear exterior, keeping the planet untouched, and became the foundation every building was to be constructed on. Everyone was released from the ship to start a new life, and future.
Now the year is 210X AI, and everyone lives on Project SORA except those living on the other six planets. Everything has changed for mankind, and men's creation. A fast-moving entertainment for kids, made by Meh CO is VDmon, or in other words Virtual Demon - a little animated creature in a Vcaller. Afterward, the card series of VDmon came out for competitors. VDmon can only train through its little simulators. After gaining enough Cursed Data, it levels up another tail. There was a time when the Meh CO perished from the slow sales of VDmon, and they were taken off the shelves.
Years later, Meh CO discovered the discarded blueprints of the VDmon, and rebuild VDmon: Angelic version. Selected randomly in the Scroller, a kid receives a VDmon in a remodeled ArchCaller, which is then bred. Buying the right equipments and deck a kid's VDmon can go from being a pet to a player in duels. After gaining enough Cursed Feathers, VDmon levels up another wing, and here is where we leave you to the story.
The rain ran down the sky. It was cold. Each little drop trying to have a quicker death when they collide with the clear exterior of SORA. Some did not even meet the floor, those reached the top of umbrellas, people unwanted heads, and a certain hood of a boy. He didn't mind the rain. It kept the world moving, or so he believed. The boy was on the top step of a rundown restaurant. He raised a hand to the freezing, aged door. He murmured slight inaudible phrases as he inspected the restaurant. He wasn't alone. His companion behind him was getting weary, and spoke up, hoping to speed the boy up.
"Taketo?" The said boy turned around, and faced the creature before him. It sported big pointed ears, a long tail, paws with claws and a set of fangs. The creature was soaking wet, it's oufit clung on and through its childish eyes, disliked every second of it.
"…" He studied at the creature, before taking out a worn out key, and entering it in the slot. It gave out a slow click, obviously since it hasn't been open for five years. It had been a tiring trip getting here. The said creature sprinted into the door before him, and up the stairs in front of it. It seems to have a good sense of where the bedroom was. There was a short thud of poor mattress being pummel, and silence. Taketo paused over the doorway, not listening as the door occasionally creaked. The whole house was shady. It reminded Taketo of unwelcome memories.
Flashback: Five Years Ago…
"You lose" Eight years old Taketo spun his head up to the voice…
