Island of the Lost

Chapter 1

Four days ago, a ship carrying travelers encountered trouble on its route. The ship that was to sail them to Barbados had hit a rock jutting out of the crisp white and foamy waves. Their ship, the Traum, sunk within a half-our. There had been 3 lifeboats aboard the ship. The women were of course let off first. Three sisters took a raft of their own, accompanied by a young man, about the age of 23. The life boats didn't carry passengers. An emergency seemed impossible, so life boats were not needed. They only carried some to relieve travelers from worry.

The day that it sunk was the day that over 12,000 other passengers died. Only 12 were able to make it to life boats, four in each. After the boats were set off to sea, a terrible storm overcame them. The man in their boat had fallen overboard and been lost at sea. The three girls could see him sinking about 15 yards away, drowning in the cold dark water, and his body sinking to the depths of the ocean.

The two other boats disappeared during the night. Bits of driftwood, which were painted a teal color, could be found floating at sea, which could be assumed to be the missing lifeboats. The three girls fell asleep as the waves rocked the boat back and forth during the storm. Their boat eventually ran aground, and in the morning the three girls woke up to solid ground.

I know. It's a short chapter folks. Let me know if you think I should continue+++
