Creeping, slipping and slinking
Over your skin, through your fingers
A satin wrapped serpent
And his fangs of poached ivory
Dripping venomous music
Black as a fall to the bottom,
And neon colors, from sleepless nights
Stretch your arms out, now,
With your palms to the sky
In some silent prayer and curse
He ripples down your arm,
And pauses at the scarred skin
Which lays, dead, over your wrist
You hold your breath; it works
As he strikes faster than death
He releases his venom into your veins
And drifts off as blue incense smoke
But you are left, pupils round
Heart beating wildly and hands shaking
A skeleton grin at this euphoria you've found
