Yugi from Yu-Gi-Oh. The jokes used here are inspired by Littlekuriboh's Yu-Gi-Oh: the Abridged Series, an Internet parody which is one of the funniest things I've ever seen and I urge everyone to watch it, even if you don't know what Yu-Gi-Oh is.

Sailor Moon and Sailor Venus from Sailor Moon

Daisuke and Satoshi from DNAngel

Ichigo from Bleach

Kiyo from Zatch Bell

And Pedro is from Excel Saga. Also, the two time-traveling swordsmen are from one of the last episodes of Samurai Deeper Kyo.

The bit about superheroices being banned is from the storyline of Alan Moore's famous graphic novel Watchmen.
