The lady of Spring
Often teases us
With promises of warmth
Only to leave the people
Still in the chill of winter.
The playful boy of Summer
Wants us all to play
Outside to keep him company
The need to run, seeps into our blood
Not to leave till we oblige.
The beautiful girl of Fall
Dons the trees
In their finest dresses
In the most festive colors
To cheer all who see.
The old man of Winter
Bares everyone to the cold
Frowning upon the shivers
Of all those who cannot
Tolerate the freezing snow.
This family of Seasons
Thrive during the year
Sharing laughs and tears
The children and parents
Give eachother life
And another reason to live.
