Laughing Eyes
His eyes, they always twinkle like the dew
To gaze at them, like diving in the wave
I feel as though some warmth were flowing through
And filling up my heart so strong and brave;
I run my fingers through his tousled hair
And blushing, turn my eyes upon the ground;
He pulls me face to face, and looking there
My question answered without any sound.
With blushing lips, a kiss upon my cheek
Electric shock that shivers up my spine,
And all the cares that gathered through the week
Evaporate because I know he's mine.
The words I long to say remain unsaid-
In lieu of words, a kiss will show instead.
