Waterproof

She's ready to sunbathe,

tanning lotion in the left hand,

fashion magazine in the right.

I notice her as I walk down the pier

and my face mirrors confusion.

"It's raining," I tell her.

She smiles and says "Don't worry

My sunblock is waterproof!"
