My sweet December

Fly away sweet December

Fly away to the sun

Winters chains will soon be broken

Emancipate the ground

Cloaked in dewdrops

Bathed in warmth

A flood of summer

In winters wake

Break out in color

Painted with song

A new beginning

A new dawn

Farwell my sweet December

Who bids thee fond goodbyes?

I will miss thy purity

Thy sparkles and thy sighs.

Lost in summers hunger

Plundered, thrown aside

Blanketed with beauty

Shimmering with pride

To watch as you so slowly die

So life begins anew

Flow away past natures paths

Entwined in a fabric so new
