Kissing flower buds for the practice
Half-open blossoms, unfurled petals
Fashioned like their fixed counterparts, lacy scallop shells
It's a caress on the nerve endings
Fresh, round, hard & silky
Transient warmth
Then,
An opened (eye)ris
I come away with a brush of yellow on my lip
Tickly, a sticky fragrance
Now
A wish for
warm lips,
fingertips
