A Window Unshaded
You've all know that I've locked myself up for safety.
To close my ears to the thunders of war
You all know I'll always keep quiet
Even when a fierce illicit wind gives me your secrets
And my soul will pierce through in ruin,
But I won't open up.
I'll lock all my doors,
Turn off the paining light
And cover all windows with the blinds of hope
Yet there will be a crack of light entering through
From that one window I cannot conceal
A light of what's going on out there
The scene of all your cries and lies
A window showing that if peace will begin
I'm still locked in the darkness,
Viewing only now at your happiness,
Because of that window unshaded.
