Farewell and Remember my 6th

While time paced on forward
And faster I grew on
My only hope, a dream of mine
Was that 2006, that would, for me, would shine
The end of '05 was heading off well
Some of this, some of that, all so swell
Everyone warned me-that this year shall be doomed
But all I thought was that the best year was coming all so soon
So now this '06 is to pass into an '07
And now I watch the people to cheer about for a new heaven
As I reflect off the 'supposed' best period of my life…
And most days, I remembered, wanting to cut my memories with a knife
The big '06 I wished for so much
Now lays as my most hated year with Her months
