Bad News!

My computer moniter has been acting quite finicky lately and today when I went to turn the damn thing on, it died on me. As in it won't turn on while the PC will. This is incredibly bad as I have no idea how I am going to get my story, music, and picture files off the PC and onto my new external hard-drive so that I can put them onto my laptop (when I get one). The one thing I really do not want to think of, is not being able to get them off at all since I have three, yet to be posted, chapters of White Russian on that computer as well as various other stories (including my attempt at a NaNoWriMo story that is at least 30k words) that I have slowly been working on; all of which I would never be able to rewrite since I have a hard time remembering what I've written days later let alone months later.

I hope I will be able to find someone that can temporarily fix the moniter or someone who can get those files off the hard-drive. Those stories are incredibly important to me (as are my music and picture files) and since all my story plans are on the computer as well, especially my plan for White Russian, the chances of me being able to rewrite those three chapters without the plan is practically impossible. There were so many things within the story plan that are important to the second arc of the story but I can only remember, off the top of my head, about three of them and there are at least ten. If I can't get those files off the computer then this story will probably be discontinued for good, unless I can come up with another plan and remember those other seven important parts. Let's hope that won't happen!

Believe me when I say that I do not want to leave this story the way it is, but sometimes there are just things I can't change. Hopefully, my dad will be able to bring the PC into work and get those files off. If not, then well, I really do not want to think about that right now. I'm really sorry, that this isn't the update that you all probably thought it would be...
