I am who I am

There's nothing wrong with me

I have everything I need

I just have to let myself free

My heart may be blackened around the edges

There may be things I don't know

It's true I'm not perfect

And I have plenty of room to grow

No one can ever put me down

No one can laugh at my dream

Because I know who I am

And know I'm more than I seem

There's more under the exterior

Don't judge what you see

Who I am is deeper down

So much more than that to me
