Reflections Angel

Her hair

a curtain of red

framing her slender face

reflecting the suns shining rays

upon the lakes rippling surface

turning it bloody

her emerald eyes are shaded

rose tinting her world

wings cascade down her back

downy white feathers

laced with silver reflects her sun struck hair

making it seem like they are soiled with blood

wild briars grow around her

entangling her limbs

rooting her in place where she rests

by the lake shore

staring at her own reflection

crying tears of crimson

that creates ripples on the lakes once smooth surface

distorting the world of reflection

there she sits forevermore

my angel of the fallen

dreaming of heaven and its clear blue skies
