With his arm firmly wrapped around your waist, his green eyes aglow with pride, you feel completely blissful, if not a bit hesitant.

It's a completely new state, a new town you've never set foot in before, but it's his town. He's taking you to meet his family, because he can't keep you a secret any longer.

He wants all of his friends to see you and be jealous of his good fortune. For his mother to fawn over you like a new daughter. His father to be proud of his woman. His brothers to finally see what he is worth.

He thinks you're the key to it all, because he has love in his eyes.

So do you.

It's a very small town, this one. Nothing like New York City, where you spent four of your teen years. Nothing like Philadephia, where he had found you. Definitely not a think like Los Angeles, where you grew up.

No, this was a place you don't quite know how to deal with yet. Little. Where not only every bar knows your name, so does every person. And not just your name, but everything about you, with a few rumors thrown in, just for fun.

With that said, it looks charming. A slower pace than what you've been used it - that's what you wanted, wasn't it?

And Jamie's here. Your love. He'll take care of you, love you. There's nothing to fear from this new place. Not you, the traveler. Not you, the wide eyed adventurer. You'll do just fine.

You squeeze his hand a little tighter.

Those eyes, intense as ever, look down at you. A beautiful smile spreads his lips. There's so much love glowing from that face that it makes you want to melt.

"We're almost there," he assures to you.

He's told you tales of what his home was like, but never pictures. Never deep descriptions. Now you were about to see it for the first time. You can't wait.

When you see the cabin, nestled in the middle of a large land plot with a rich forest as a backdrop, you grin, hugging him closer to you.

A feeling of security has filled you. Everything is going to work out, you just know it. It'll be easy sailing, from this point out.

You're home.
