This was written after I finished being in a really bad and sad mood. It counts as super bad cause I cried at school(and I NEVER cry at school...) My classmate comforted me, and I was angry, and didn't want her to. But she did it anyway. I need to be better to her now. This was an inspiration from the words "I could thank you a million times and it wouldn't be enough." Or maybe it was written just so I could pop the words in. Really though, she's so nice to me it hurts. I tell her that, and she just says," Aww, come on!" I really COULD thank her a million times, and it wouldn't be enough. Oh and the title, it's cause on the radio, they've been playing the song "My Guardian Angel" often lately. It's a one-shot, and I own it all!

His tears fell non-stop, and he didn't wipe it away. It would waste tissue, or it would dirty his white Garfield shirt. If he did, if his mom knew, he would be punished. He hated being punished. Curled up in a dark tiny corner behind a dusty bookshelf, unnoticed, the dark-haired toddler with blue eyes was hiding, hiding. Hiding from the group of girls that had laughed at the fact he was last to be chosen for the games. Hiding from the group of boys that had joked about his clothes then punched and kicked at him. The adults hadn't looked. They never looked. There would be blood on his face, the adults wouldn't ask why.

"Goodness you be more careful Xevior!"

They would assume. And it would always be wrong.

Darkness. The world had always been dark. Confusion. Reasons had never been clear. He would cry, he knew why he cried. He didn't like the way the other children behaved towards him. It made him feel lonely and lonely felt bad.

Timidly, as if looking for something, a golden head peeked behind the shelf. When the little blonde-headed emerald-eyed boy saw the mop of dark hair, he smiled.

"Hey Xevior, what are you doing?"

The head lifted, confusion once again filling blue eyes.

"U-um, who are you?"

"Leth," There was a slight pause, "And your friend Want-to-be."

The smile was still there. The first smile he received, the first smile to be given to be received.

"Let's go outside and build a sand castle."

A hand was held down to him.

His tears had stopped.

He didn't understand it. But it was not a bad thing to not understand. He took the small offered hand and was pulled lightly to his feet.

"A-ah, I like to make a moat around castles. It makes it safer… S-so, can we make one around ours?" Cerulean eyes held uncertainty, but they shone, in the afternoon sunlight with something newly found.

Nobody seemed to notice Xevior's new companion.

But when Leth was there,

And he was always there,

No one ever bothered them.

When they were playing together,

Whether it be puzzles,

Or hide-and-seek,

No one ever said anything bad to them about it.

Xevior was happy,

And he smiled all the time now.

Leth would go to his house all the time,

And his parents never commented.

They would laugh and joke,

About anything,

And everything,

And when Xevior started primary,

They studied together.

They went to the library together,

They were everywhere together.

When Leth was there,

And he was always there,

To Xevior,

It meant nothing bad could happen.

He was like a protective barrier,

Incasing Xevior in his embrace,

Away from harm,

Away from pain and hurt.

Xevior turned sixteen

He was handsome,

He was clever,

He didn't socialize much, but he was watched now.

Watched differently now.

Yet no one bothered,

Because no one dared,

Because no one cared

But then he met a girl.

"Your first crush?" there was that beautiful smile again.

"Don't tell me you've never liked a girl before!"

"Can't deny that, but, does she know?"

Xevior laughed and blushed,

"She's not suppose to, and I don't want her to know! But… I think she does."

"Well Xev, you're pretty obvious about it."

"I am?"

"Yes, and you know what? Since she already knows, I'd say you should ask her out."

He loved Leth like a brother. His love for his best friend has never stopped. But after graduating from high school, he fell in love with a woman.

Leth smiled,

His best, truest smile,

He was satisfied,

He was pleased,

Because his work here, was finally done.

"Xev, I have somewhere I need to go."

"Go? Go where?"

"I'm happy for you, you know."

"You mean Trinity? Yea, it's half thanks to you too, pushing me into it."

"I have to leave now, because I have finished what I am here for."

"What, what do you mean? Leth?"

"You were a child, born to be ignored, to be unaccompanied in your younger years. I could not bear to watch someone with a fate like yours struggle through it like a bird with broken wings. But now I see, that your wings are not broken, they were merely folded. They are slowly stretching now, and you, are taking on your first breeze."

Xevior didn't understand, but it wasn't something bad to not understand,

"I could thank you a million times and it wouldn't be enough."

I don't think I go the feeling through, but I honestly put in mine.
