Far past summer she falls

Far past summer she falls:
She falls
Through broken branches
And drying moss-
The sunlight falls too
Though broken by branches
And dried leaves

It touches her face
Where the tears shine wetly
The tears her heart has held:
But a broken heart leaks
And her heart has been broken

The sky seems far
But it still brushes her face
And the clouds hang low to hide her:
Her shame at her stupidity
Her late night thoughts

Dangled within reach,
All she has ever wanted-
Clashing with what she wants now

Oh! her heart, her heart
I'm sure it can't hold much more
Her face says so
Her tears say so
The way she fold her arms
Like broken branches

...and the winter come faster.
