So... I haven't done my other story in a while (my brain juices are running low, it's all this schoolwork, sorry) and my battery has been running a little low, so none of the stuff I've been writing has been good enough to go through with. Then, out of the blue, this little one jumped out at me. It's a lot better than all the other stories I've been poking around with, so I decided to put it up.

Oh, and this is just an intro chapter; the stories start next chapter. This is just so you know the characters better.

Hey, how about, instead of diaries, we write stories? They have to be realistic but interesting. Just write it like it's someone else's life. Just go with whatever you prefer, yeah? (Oh, no OOC's, lols or anything else. It's a type of story, so it has to be written like a book)

Just a suggestion, thought it would make it a little more interesting. My life would be the most boring story ever; I myself wouldn't bother to read it.

Sure! Sounds v. interesting. My life (apart from talking to you guys, of course) is the most boring thing ever! What does everyone else think?

I'm fine with that, sure. I'm not starting, though. Anyone up for going first?

That sounds good. I think Sabhail should start, she's always the quietest round here. Unless, of course, anyone else wants to start?

I definitely don't want to start. So yeah, maybe Sabhail should. She never says much, does she?

Then it's decided! No one else has said anything else about starting, so could I just say a couple more things about the stories.

I think they shouldn't be written in verse (poetry has it's place, people), but they can be written in any person or tense. It'll be easier to relate to the main character if it's around our ages, but it can be any age, as long as it's believable. This is supposed to be fun, like the diaries, so those are the only things we should stick to.

Sure, sounds fine! And yeah, no poetry! All the funny shaped lines make my eyes bleed! But the realistic part? Why? Could I have just a tad of fantasy? It makes things much funner!

Alright! I was a little daunted by the whole diary thing! I know none of you guys would be mean, but it's the internet, and anything could happen if I printed a proper diary up here.

BBB, no fantasy. Abstraction, sure. Modernism, fine. But no dragons/knights/wizards etc. I think we're all a little old for toyland now, don't you?

What did you think? Just so you know, all the characters are from 14-20, just because those are the easiest ages for me to write about.

These people all only know each other through the forum they all talk on (or, at least, they're not aware of knowing each other. I haven't made my mind up about that yet), so they could be from anywhere in the world, from any background, and could be in any clique. The only thing that links them is their feeling of not fitting in.

If anyone watches Skins - the story isn't a copy of it - this'll be like that in the way I'm hoping it won't be preachy. This is just about how things happen.

Please review, if only to scream your disgust!
