Okayy.. well this is my first story (oneshot) of course. Review please?
Jessica slowly opened the paint can, and dipped the brush into the liquid. Before she could do anything more, she was spun around.
Paint splatterd across the floor, as she looked up into his sparkling blue eyes.
"Jake! Look what you-"
Her words were cut off by his warm lips that framed hers as he slowly backed her against the wall. She could feel his fingers tracing up her arms and shivers were sent all the way down to her feet just by his touch.
She was dreaming, floating . She couldn't feel the ground as his tongue played with hers. She wrapped her arms around his neck, noticing that until now her hands had just hung limp by her sides. He pulled her in closely, and paused the kiss.
She opened her eyes in awe, and noticed the smile creeping up onto his face. He was her childhood friend, her next door neighbor. He had only come over to help her repaint her bedroom.
The same room he had always been in, innocently of course. Where he would spend hours trying to teach her how to multiply complicated numbers in math. She realized how close they were, how calming it felt to have his warm skin press up against hers. How his shirt showed off the muscles he had gained from his daily football practice.
She realized that, she loved him. She loved the way he protected her, when her latest boyfriend cheated on her, and how he held her when she cried. She loved the way his dark blonde hair fell shortly above his eyes in such a careless way. She loved how every girl chased after him, and yet he still kept her company when she felt all alone.
She had always loved him. She didn't have to say it because she knew he felt the same way. But she did.
"I lo-" she started.
"I know. And I love you too." He replied quietly.
She smiled, and kissed him back.
