Stupid sunlight! Does it just insist on coming up and ruining a perfectly good night's sleep? I rolled over with a grunt of displeasure, but sadly I was already awake. Why, oh why I ask you, did I get the bed right beside the window? I looked over at the clock on the nightstand to see that it was already past noon. I sighed and sat up, looking over at Nikki. "Hey Nik, get up!" I said loudly. When that didn't work I decided on throwing a pillow at her and yelling, "Nikki!"

"Go away!" she mumbled, rolling away from me.

"She's alive!" I yelled, laughing when I heard her grunt. "Come on, Nik. It's noon. Seriously, Get up!" I said, throwing another pillow at her head.

She finally sat up in bed with a groan, "Fine! But I will not be happy about it!" she said glaring sleepily at me.

I rolled my eyes as I stood up and stretched. "What do you want to do today?" Not that there was much left to the day anyway. I walked to the small bathroom in our hotel room, needing to freshen up somewhat. I scruntched up my nose in distaste at the image I saw looking back at me from the mirror. My hair was everywhere, and the makeup that Nikki had globbed on my face last night was smudged. I quickly brushed my tangled hair and washed my face off. By the time I went back into the room, Nikki had the tv on and a pot of coffee going.

"Well..." she hesitated starting to answer my previous question. I could already tell I wasn't going to like this idea. "I was thinking...we could go to that new club that just opened around here." she turned around to face me with a huge smile on her face. "It's supposed to be three stories high and it has a HUGE bar and..."

I rolled my eyes, "Fine! We can go!" I said dismissively, not wanting to hear her never-ending rant about that club.

Nikki jumped up and down excitedly, "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" she said running and flopping down on her bed. "I'm so gonna do your make-up tonight! Oh and we need to pick you out an outfit and..."

I just tuned her out from there, not wanting to hear the torture I was sure to be put through in a matter of hours.

Sure enough, I was put through that torture called huricane Nikki. I swear that girl literally attacks you with make-up and all the other things she deems "necessary" for a night at the club. After heading out for a bite to eat and stopping at a few shops along the way, I was given about two hours before being shoved into a chair and told to stay. "I'm not a dog!" I argued with a glare in Nikki's direction. "This is completely unfair!"

"Oh shut up!" she said as she rumaged through her make-up bag. After finding the case of eye shadow she was looking for she turned to me. "Close your eyes." she said with the air of a drill sergent as she started to apply it to my eyelashes.

After sitting in that chair for about thirty minutes, Nikki decided that she was finished with my face. Finally! "Okay, what are you going to wear?" she asked looking down at me. Just great.

"Ummm...jeans?" I suggested hopefully.

She rolled her eyes, "I'll go look through your suitcase." she sighed. A few minutes later she was back, holding my clothes. I don't know how that girl does it but she can take my usually plain clothes and turn them into an awsome outfit.

I sighed and got up, walking into the bathroom just as Nikki started to apply her own make up. The clothes she had picked out was a plain dark green fitted tank top , black skinny jeans, and - knowing that I can't walk in heels over three inches without falling and killing my self- black two-inch heeled boots. I turned to the mirror and was surprised to actually find myself, well...pretty. The green of the tank top and the eye shadow brought out the bright color green of my eyes; And sporting a wide, black and white checkered headband, my straight, dark brown hair fell loose past my shoulders.

I didn't even realize Nikki had been calling me. "Ya okay in there, V?" she asked, knocking on the bathroom door. "You didn't fall in or anything did you?"

I rolled my eyes, "Coming!" I said as I opened the door and walked out. She was already dressed and ready to go.

"Let's go already! Gosh, you're slow." she said impatiently standing at the door. Seeing her in a mini-skirt and tube top just made me feel like a pig. Since I was constantly riding horses, I was more muscular and bulkier than her skinnier frame. Not that I have ever been a size two in my life, much less a size zero. Nor will I ever be that small.

I just rolled my eyes good-naturedly, "Okay! Okay! Calm down!" I walked out of the door of the hotel room, making sure to leave the tv on. Nikki rolled her eyes. So what if I was paranoid?

After walking about three blocks, we arrived at a huge, three story high building. The sign on the front said 'Ice'. This was deffinately the biggest club I've ever seen in my life, not that I've been to very many in the first place. There was music booming from inside the club and a long line at the door. Begrudgedly, I pulled Nikki to the back of the line. I refused to listen to her idea of sneaking in. "It wont be that bad Nikki." I said leaning against the building. Seeing that I wasn't going to listen to her 'brilliant plan' she shut up with a dramatic sigh.

About thirty minutes later we walked through the doors of Ice. There were bright lights going everywhere, and eardrum bursting music playing. Then I noticed the bar. Nikkie was right, it was huge. Rows of bottles lined the whole side of the wall, and I for one did not want try whatever was in those things. I was never much of a drinker. There were stairs near the bar that led up to what I was guessing was another dance floor. There were so many people in this room that it was hard to move without bumping into someone. Nikki and I must look like lost puppies here with the way we were gaping at everything.

"Um...Nik?" I yelled over the music, but she didn't hear me. All of a sudden a guy appeared beside Nikki. With curly brown hair and bright brown eyes, even I had to admit he was abercrombie model drool worthy.

"Would you like to dance?" he asked smoothly taking her hand. Nikki was officialy around to face me with pleading eyes, she didn't have to say one word.

"Go on. Have fun." I said to her. A huge smile spread over her face as the mystery guy led her away. I sighed knowing I probably wouldn't see her for a while. What was I supposed to do? There was no chance a guy was going to ask me to dance, and I was far to shy to ask one myself. Plus, I couldn't dance anyway, so I was basically saving myself from unneeded embarressment.

Deciding on a drink -a non-alchoholic one- I slowly pushed myself over to the bar. It took me a few minutes to get the bartender's attention, considering I wasn't wearing a low-cut top like the red head sitting to my left. The guy gave me a funny look when I asked for a pepsi, but gave it to me without a word. As I turned to make my way to the other side of the room to find a seat I ran into someting hard...and muscular. I looked up only to gaze into deep brown eyes.

Letting out a small gasp I said, "Oh! I'm so sorry!" I tried to get out of the mystery guy's way but he put his hand on my arm, keeping me in the same spot.

He smiled at me and I couldn't help but to smile back. "It's okay." He said in a deep voice. My eyes were locked with his and I didn't want to look away. "I'll overlook it on one condition." he said with a lopsided smile.

"What's that?" I asked with a small smile of my own.

"One dance."

I didn't even get a chance to say anything before he led me to the dancefloor. Something told me that I shouldn't be doing this, but I put that thought in the back of my mind. The light was dim, but I actually got a good look at him as he was pulling me towards the middle of a crowd of people on the floor. He was actually pretty good looking with short blonde hair, brown eyes, and was a few inches taller than me.

'But not as good looking as Aiden'

Wow...where did that come from? Why was I comparing this guy to Aiden? I was never going to see him again. Plus, he was just making conversation...its not like he liked me or anything. And that was that.

I shook those thoughts out of my head and came back to the present only to see 'mystery guy' staring at me. I blushed, "Sorry." I muttered.

He smiled and pulled me close to him right in the middle of the dancefloor. He had his hands on my shoulders as he wispered in my ear. "I'm Tristan by the way."

A shiver went down my spine as I felt his breath on my neck...and it wasn't the good kind. "I'm...um...Ivy." I said nervously as he started moving us to the music.

There was a fast song on and I was actually having fun until he started getting to...touchy. One of his hands was on my waist and I felt that hand go lower and lower. I grabbed his wrist and moved it away from me. He moved it back to my waist without a word. A few minutes later I felt him move us towards the opposite end of the club.

All of a sudden I was pushed into a wall and he started kissing me roughly. I started to panic and tried to push him off, but he wouldn't move. He was too heavy. Tristan pulled back and smirked at me when he saw my scared/startled look. I knew he wasn't going to stop. I felt like sobbing right then and there, but I wouldn't let him get that satisfaction. He just laughed and started to lean in again. All of a sudden he was roughly pushed off of me, and fell to the floor. I looked up to see who my saviour was, and the guy looked vaguely familar. He was wearing a pair of glasses and a black beanie. It's not like I could see to good in this lighting. It was almost completly black where we were now. I was leaning against the wall, my heart beating like it had just run a marathon.

Tristan stood up and he was mad! He glared at the guy that pushed him and shoved him back. "What's your deal, dude? I was just trying to have some fun!" he said like what he was doing a minute ago was innocent. I just noticed the slur of his words as he yelled.

The other guy punched Tristan and pushed him roughly into the wall, holding him up by his shirt. "Don't you even think about touching her again!" he yelled angrily. He moved from Tristan, letting him fall to the floor. Without another word, he took my hand and led me away from the boy on the floor.

A/n

Okay so here is the second chapter of my first story on here! I'm not sure if the ending is very clear or if it needs to be longer or what. I'd appreciate some input on that:) Thanks again!
