Rather than post this into a new story, I'll just add it here as a little bonus. This was done up for a contest quite a while ago, where we had to interview some of our characters. Naturally, I thought of three in particular, and how fun it would be to have them in the same room. This turned out a bit loopy, but some of you might get a kick out of it. As a side note, I apologize for my long absence - life called and I had to answer. I am back now, and intend to get to work on RW, as well as posting some new stuff.

On the left, sat a man. He wore his salt-and-pepper hair clipped short, and a metal mask obscured his entire face. Black eyes glimmered from behind the eye-holes. He sat like a king, relaxed, as if nothing in the world could touch him. He wore a name tag which stated: Ra'Skevvor.

In the middle, sat another man. He was younger, in his twenties. Straight black hair brushing against his ears, he fixed a violet-eyed glare straight at the interviewer. He leaned to his right, almost as if he wanted to be as far away from the masked man as possible. His name tag: Raven.

On the right, sat a spiky-haired teenager. Small and delicate, he appeared to be fourteen years of age. He fidgeted in his chair, black eyes wide as he poked the soft padding on the armrest. On the back of his chair, a large raven perched. It was the same color as his hair. Name tag: Jett.

In front of them, the interviewer took a deep breath, then began to speak.

Interviewer: Welcome everyone! Today, we have with us very special guests, who have come a long way just for this interview! So, let's get started, shall we? *consults clipboard* I understand you three are all family?

Raven: *growls darkly* No. That man is not, nor will he ever be, family. He is nothing more than a dark plague that needs to be snuffed out. Destroyed. Incinerated.

Jett: *glances at the masked man, narrows his eyes* I'm not related to him, either.

Interviewer: Uh...

Ra'Skevvor: Oh, come now. What is with these reactions? You two are both my wonderful sons. And Raven, while you have disappointed me with your failures, I still love you dearly.

Raven: Love? You sick monster... You don't even know the meaning of that word. How dare you use it and my name in the same sentence... disgusting.

Ra'Skevvor: *sighs* Even after all these years, you still refuse to accept me. *looks over to Jett* Jett, I hope you won't follow in your brother's footsteps. After all, you are very much like me, aren't you?

Jett: No! *leaps out of chair, and lunges at him* Raven's right! You are a horrible monster! I will destroy you!

Interviewer: Hey... hey! Calm down...this is an interview, not a battle! Just sit down, and calm down, all right?

Jett: *sits down and glowers*

Interviewer: All right, so I see that was a bad question to start with. Seriously...you guys are messed up. In any case, let's try this again. Hmmm...here we go. How about hobbies? Do you have any?

Jett: What's a hobby?

Raven: *leans over and whispers to Jett*

Jett: Oh! Well...um...I like to run?

Interview: Okay...that's good. And what about you, Raven?

Raven: Hmmm...I suppose that I enjoy tormenting people. Especially wimpy ones. They tend to scream the loudest. Or collapse into quivering, brainless mush. It all depends on the person, you see. If you read them right, it's easy to -

Interviewer: All right, thank you! I get it! Ra'Skevvor?

Ra'Skevvor: *scoffs* Hobbies are for the foolish.

Interviewer: Uh...well, that's interesting. Here's the next question: what do you think is the most important thing to have in life?

Jett: That's easy. It's freedom.

Ra'Skevvor: Absolute power.

Raven: Strength...

Interviewer: Strength? There's more than one kind of strength, you know. Can't you be more specific, for our audience?

Raven: The most important kind.

Interviewer: Which is?

Raven: ...

Interviewer: Fine. If you're not going to answer, then your fans will hate you. Doesn't bother me any. Now, who is the person you look up to the most?

Jett: Um...if I had to pick someone, I guess it'd be . . . .*averts eyes* ...Raven.

Interviewer: Really? Why him?

Jett: I'm not sure. All he does is beat me up and call it training...but I guess I wouldn't be where I am if it weren't for him.

Interviewer: I . . .see. How about you, Raven?

Raven: I'm not saying. These questions are starting to get ridiculous.

Interviewer: Hey, it's ...!

Jett: Come on, Raven...tell us! Please?

Raven: No.

Jett: Fine. Then I'll tell everyone how you snor -

Raven: *slaps hand over Jett's mouth* Fine! Just shut up! Ugh...this is stupid. Whatever. I'm still not saying his name, but this person is probably the strongest, and most courageous person I have ever met. They're also annoying, stupidly stubborn, and end up in more trouble than a guy sitting under a tree full of pigeons. Is that enough for you?

Interviewer:...And you look up to this guy?

Raven: *glares* Is there a problem?

Interviewer: N-no, not at all. Okay, Mr. Ra'Skevvor...it's your turn.

Ra'Skevvor: This is a foolish question. There is no need for worthless affections, as there is no one on earth worthy. I only have need for myself.

Interviewer: Um...okay. *consults clipboard* If there was one thing you could change in life, what would it be?

Raven: *becomes solemn* If I could go back...I would have never become a flyer.

Jett: *gapes at him* Seriously? I'm glad I became one, 'cause now I can help people. But if I could change something...I'd want my mother back.

Interviewer: Ra'Skevvor?

Ra'Skevvor: *quietly*...She would be alive. That is all.

A gloomy silence settles over the small room.

Interviewer: *clears throat to break the silence* We're halfway done, gentlemen. Why don't you share with us what your goals in life are. Jett, you can start us off.

Jett: Um...Well, I want everyone to have freedom, with no more wars and fighting. I know it's a huge goal, but I really want it to happen, even though I'm not sure how...

Raven: It's easy, kid. Just kill Ra'Skevvor here, and you'll be halfway there.

Interviewer: Hey, keep it nice here. Just for that, you're going last, Raven.

Raven: Heh. Is that supposed to bother me?

Interviewer: *ignores Raven* Ra'Skevvor, what is your goal that you want to accomplish?

Ra'Skevvor: It's very simple. I live for only one thing...to destroy the world, with my sons at my side.

Raven: Forget it. It's not gonna happen.

Interviewer: Destroy the world? Are you mad?

Jett: Yes! Yes, he is!

Ra'Skevvor: Not at all...I don't mean to destroy the planet itself, as such a feat would prove to be pointless. I mean to destroy all of the filthy, corrupted humans who cause nothing but pain to others. If they no longer existed, then pain would disappear. It's very simple.

Interviewer:...Uh...is there a reason why?

Ra'Skevvor: ...*stares at interviewer*...

Interviewer: O-okay, you don't have to answer that. Raven, it's your turn now.

Raven: Hmm...I guess it'd be to rid this world of stupid old men...namely annoying Interviewers, the Elders and the dung pile sitting next to me.

Interviewer: *pales * Hey, you're not serio -

Ra'Skevvor: *chuckles* You're welcome to try, my dear boy.

Raven: *snaps out his hand and grabs Ra'Skevvor's throat* Thank you for the invitation! I'll be happy to accept!

Interviewer: Hey! Hey! Stop this!

Ra'Skevvor: *grabs Raven's wrist, and stares into his son's eyes. He smiles* You can't do it, and you know it.

Raven: Oh yes, I can. *tightens his grip on Ra'Skevvor's throat *

Jett: Go, Raven! You can do it!

Interviewer: Stop it, already! This is supposed to be an orderly interview!

Raven: Don't just stand there like an idiot, kid. Get over here and help me.

Jett: But I don't like killing people. And you're doing just fine.

The Interviewer takes hold of Raven and tries to pull him off Ra'Skevvor: Break it up, come on! This is insane! You guys are insane! What kind of family - ?

Raven: Oh, shut up already. *Sinks his free fist into Interviewer's stomach* We're busy right now.

The Interviewer gapes like a fish, and collapses into an unconscious heap in the floor. Raven turns his attention back onto his father: What do you think now, Ra'Skevvor? What was that? I'm sorry, I couldn't understand you. Would you speak louder? Oh, forgive me. It must be rather hard to speak with my hand around your throat...

Jett shouts out encouragement. . . .

. . . .and thus the interview comes to an early end.
