Is this Considered a Prelude?

I was the product of a one night stand gone wrong.

My mother, Eloise Monique Moreau, was eighteen and had just graduated from high school. My mother has always been very pretty and mature looking. The first time she snuck into a bar was when she was sixteen and a half with her boyfriend at the time (his name is unimportant).

To celebrate her graduation she and her other mature looking friends went to "Kit Kat Scratch Club" in New York City. There she met twenty-one year old college student Shane Liam Doyle. They got drunk, ended up in his dorm room, and… well did things that every child pretends their parents never partook in.

The next morning my mother left his dorm room before he woke, leaving a note thanking him for the drinks and the screw.

Fourteen mornings later she found out she was pregnant.

My mom and dad's story isn't a fairytale, happy ending. They didn't get married. They dated for two months, realized how incompatible they were, and decided that they could have a kid without having to live through hell with one another.

So nine months after the "disastrous night" (as my parents have fondly come to think of the night I was conceived), I was born.

Then there was the other dilemma. What the hell were they going to call me, Moreau or Doyle? Both my parents wanted me to have their own surname and argued almost throughout the whole labor. Once the labor pains kicked in, though, my mother had other things on her mind…

Anyway, on September 10th, 1990, 6:58 p.m. I was born. On September 11th, 1990, 11:34 a.m. the Great Compromise was created. My mother would get to name me, while I kept my father's surname.

Thus I became Jacqueline Laverne Doyle.

When I was five I found out that my father wanted to name me Cleopatra Thea; so yeah, dodged a bullet there.

Before you all start thinking my father is a complete freak let me tell you his occupation. My father is an archeologist; a pretty famous one too. Twelve years ago my father led an expedition to Egypt looking for the lost tomb of Dionysos. As luck would have it, the tomb was found and Shane Liam Doyle became the man to know. I myself became famous from that expedition since it had been summer and my fathers turn to have me. So along with all those men and women, aged twenty-five through fifty, was a five year old girl who kept getting into fights with the camels.

Since that fateful adventure, all my history teachers have come to worship me, some even asking if I could, somehow, get my father to come in and speak to the class; I never even mentioned the idea to my father. To me, my father belonged to myself and no one else. I didn't want to share him and my second life with my classmates. My classmates were part of my first, boring life. Since my fifth summer, I have been all around the world. China, Japan, Germany, Australia, Britain, Egypt, Brazil, Greenland, Africa, the list is endless.

Remember, though, that only my summers are spent with my father. The rest of the year I'm with my mother living in Jacksonville, New York, only about ten minutes out of New York City.

Despite my mother's past, she is not a slut. In fact, in my seventeen years of life, I think she's only gone on a handful of dates and has only been in two serious relationships; neither working out because of her job.

My mother is a nurse at Golden Heart Hospital. She's often referred to as the best nurse working at the hospital, mostly due to the fact that she doesn't take any of the shit from the disgruntle patients. Most of the druggies (Golden Heart is where they end up after they overdose, even if they are from five towns over) have come to fear my mother.

Jacksonville is, on the exterior, a quaint city where the residents mostly range from upper class to middle class. Many successful families made up the population of the town. Large houses lay on every residential street. The school district is widely considered one of the best in the country, due to all of the generous donations given.

Yet underneath the pretty wrapping there is scandal, this is crime, there is deceit. Unfortunately, I was much too oblivious to all this, if I hadn't been, I might have saved me and everyone else a whole lot of trouble. But then, there wouldn't be much of a story, would there?

So I suppose neither one of my lives can be considered "normal" but, hey, I'd rather be traveling the world than stuck in Jacksonville volunteering at Golden Heart and doing five hours of homework that Winchester Private School deems necessary to give every night.

But Jacksonville is my home; it's also where my story begins…

"Scrubs make me look fat," I said to Nurse Janet Lewis. Janet is one of the younger nurses that work at Golden Heart. She's African American, beautiful, and damn good at giving advice on how to get out of a sticky situation by using femme fatale.

Janet laughed while handing me a file. "You're seventeen, nothing makes you look fat. Now, wait until you're thirty, then you can start complaining. I also think you're anorexic, so…"

I glared and grabbed the file from her hands. "I am getting so sick of the skinny jokes. I eat; I got a blood test, what more do you people want?"

"For you to get some meat on those bones." Janet winked at me and walked away, digging a thermometer out of her pocket.

I sighed and looked down at the list of names I would have to call out. I couldn't stop the smile from forming on my lips. What is in these parents heads when they name their children? Some of the names on the list are worse than what my father had picked wanted to call me.

Last week a man and woman brought their two year old son in, the poor boy suffering not only from the flu, but from the "my parent's gave me a dumb ass name" syndrome. Want to know what his name was? Shithead. Yeah, not even kidding. It's supposed to he pronounced shi-theed.

Two days ago I found Shithead's perfect life mate. Four month old Asshole. Pronounced As-shole-ee.

Oh the creativeness of the human mind. God awful, isn't it?

I stepped down from my stool and blew a loose strand of me curly brown hair out of my face. Why don't hair clips ever work right?

I walked out the automatic sliding glass door that led to the waiting room and looked around. Like always, the room was packed. I think the people of Jacksonville are accident prone. I glanced down at the list and called out the first name. "Laura Earls?" A woman holding an icepack to her eyes stood up and walked toward me. "A doctor will see to you in room 11B." Laura nodded her thanks and walked to where I directed.

"Excuse me," came a loud, authoritative voice. I looked to see a man and woman, looking quite out of place, with a young girl sitting next to them, reading a book.

I raised a brow. The woman's dark hair was pulled back in a tight bun. She wore black skirt suit with black high heels. I would have thought she was wearing tan nylons but I could tell from the low cut collar of her suit that her skin was naturally that beautiful bronze.

The man had a tall, bulky form and dark features. His high cheek bones and upturned nose gave off the air of a regal aristocrat. He wore his own Armani suit and shiny black shoes.

"Yes?" I asked the lady, the one who had called me.

"We have important things to take care of and we have been waiting here for nearly twenty minutes. Now, I demand that you take a look at our daughter," the woman grabbed the book from the girls hand and made her stand up.

"Your daughter looks fine to me," I shrugged. Really, the girl did. She had been one of the lucky few to inherit her parents' good looks, and had the same exotic features.

"She is not fine; she's been coughing none stop since Monday."

"Oh no! A cough!" I seriously hate people. Not even kidding. "Listen Ma'am, I have a kid with pneumonia, a man who cut his finger off while doing fancy fish cutting at his restaurant, a baby with an ear infection, and an old lady who just had a stroke. So, unless your daughter suddenly falls to the ground, struggling to breathe, I suggest you wait your turn like all the others."

I should have known by the stricken look on everyone's faces that I had done something wrong. But instead of looking offended, the woman looked somewhat impressed. Her full lips pulled into a smirk and her eyes glimmered with mischief.

Before I could ask what she found so amusing I was pulled through the glass sliding doors by Nurse Janet, who then hit me over my head with her clipboard.

"Ow!" I howled, rubbing my hand over the sore spot of my forehead. "What the hell was that for?"

"Are you stupid? You do not speak that way towards the Venturi's!" Janet looked at me as if I had a purple octopus around my head.

"Why not? I speak that way towards everyone." I do, really, if they piss me off enough. I get it from my mom.

Janet pulled me closer and whispered in my ear, "Because the Venturi's are a very…influential family. It is not wise to anger them."

I pulled back slightly and looked at Janet with confused eyes. "What does them being influential have to do with anything? If they're so important they should have better manners."

"Trust my, babe; the Venturi's don't need manners."

"Now Janet, everyone needs to have manners; if not, the world would…well, would just be full of rude people."

"…Like you and your mother?"

"Exactly! Do you want more of us? I don't think so!" I shook my head and sat back down on my stool. Do you know the best thing about hospital stools? They have wheels. I lost count of how many times I rolled around the room trying to rid myself of the suffocating boredom that overcomes me when there's a slow day at Golden Heart. Once, Doctor Bianchi and I raced through some of the more quiet halls of the hospital. Yeah, I totally kicked his butt. I rule at wheel-stool racing.

"Jacqueline!" came the loud, demanding voice of Helga Nowak, head nurse at Golden Heart Hospital. Helga is the kind of woman you just didn't want to mess with. She was the stereotypical Helga; she was a large woman with a booming voice that sounded as if it should come from a man rather than a forty-seven year old woman. Her blonde ringlets of hair somehow intimidated rather than comforted. The black hairs, totally contradicting the gold of her hair, that formed a "barely visible but you know its there" mustache. There's a rumor going 'round that she use to be a female wrestler that got banned for killing her manager after the man scammed her out of some of her earnings.

Personally, I believe the story that she use to be a man named Harold Newman who became a woman to hide from the F.B.I after killing his family. This should explain the fear that erupted through my body after hearing her yell my name in such an angry tone.

"Yes Helga?" I asked innocently, folding my hands behind my back to add onto my adorableness. Helga wouldn't dare hurt a cute, harmless girl… at least not in front of so many witnesses.

Helga grabbed my arm and pulled me back into the waiting room. She dragged me to the family I had just insulted and forced me to stand right in front of them. "Apologize to them right now, Jacqueline."

I stared at Helga with wide eyes. Though Helga hated my guts, she always approved of my roughing up rude patients. "Why? They were being rude and impatient; I was just informing them of the situation and that it would be better for everyone if they had the common courtesy to wait their turn."

"Do you know who these people are?" Helga hissed in my ear.

"Yes," I said proudly, "the Venturi's; a very influential family with no manners." I turned back look at Janet and gave her a thumbs up. She slapped her forehead. Ouch.

Helga sighed and let go of my arm. "I don't know why I try; you getting yourself killed would be a blessing for me." She walked away, leaving me, once again, alone with this mysterious couple.

I shrugged my shoulders and looked back down at my clipboard, which I somehow had the great mind in grabbing before I was manhandled by Helga. That sentence sounded so wrong. "Well Venturi family, if it makes you feel better it's your turn."

I'm not sure if you've noticed, but my name is such a contradiction. Jacqueline Laverne; yeah, two of the French-iest names ever and then Doyle; the ugliest Irish name to ever be cursed upon a person. Seriously, Doyle? Does anyone else think of a humongous zit?

I can't tell you the taunting I had to endure when I was younger because of my name. "Jackie Boil! Jackie Boil!" Kids can be so cruel.

It wasn't until I started going to Winchester Private School that the teasing stopped. It was as if private school kids were much more mature than public school children. In fact, two of those private school girls became my very best friends; Sofia Caprice Dal Monte and Natale Mona Dal Monte, also known as the Dal Monte twins.

The Dal Monte family is very Italian. Their grandfather has this very thick Italian accent and when he gets angry he brakes into his native tongue, sprouting out words that I don't understand. I never met Sofia and Natale's parents. They died in some kind of accident about eleven years ago. The twins don't like talking about it, so I leave it alone.

"Jackie!" I was pulled from my thoughts by my mother's voice. I looked up and smiled widely. No matter how many times I see her, I'm always struck by my mother's beauty; her light complexion, her bright blue eyes, her beautiful wavy blonde hair. When she was younger she looked older, now that she is older she looks younger. Oh why, oh why, couldn't I have inherited her looks? Don't get me wrong, I'm pretty gorgeous myself, it's just I inherited my father's Irish looks. Deep chocolate eyes, curly brown hair, the only thing I inherited from my mother were her light complexion. In all honesty, I'm pretty darn adorable. The curly hair is just so hard to take care of, though!

"How may I help you, mother dearest?" I finally answered after spacing out again.

"It's almost eleven thirty, why are you still here?"

I perked up. It was eleven thirty? Did I fall asleep or something? "Oh…um…I don't know…?"

My mother sighed and pulled me off the stool. "Get yourself home and sleep. I'm going to be here for awhile. Do you have money for the bus?"

"Huh?" I looked up from when I was gathering my things. "Oh, um, yeah."

"Don't space out like that, you'll get yourself killed." Mother scolded me as she dragged me through the halls and out the main entrance. "Be safe and call me when you get home." She kissed me on the forehead.

I nodded and walked away from Golden Heart. The bus stop was just two streets down.

A few minutes later I was standing at the bus stop with tears in my eyes as I looked for the change I thought I had. It's not unlikely that I wouldn't have the money, though. When I get off work when it's still light out I just walk home, since Golden Heart is only two miles or so away from home(I like the exercise), but when I do need to take the bus it's usually at seven or eight when there are others at the bus stop as well, so I usually just have to smile cutely and someone else pays for me. Apparently, though, I'm the only idiot who rides the bus this late.

The most logical thing to do would be to go back to Golden Heart and ask my mom for money, but she said she would be working for awhile longer, which usually meant she would be too busy and almost impossible to find.

I looked down the street that was the beginning of my route home. If no one was at the bus stop this late, then no one will be outside this late, right?

"This is Jacksonville, what could possibly happen?" I muttered as I made my way home. "The only exciting things that happen to me are when I'm on a trip with dad."

"Hey, hey cutie," came a voice. I looked to see two older boys coming out of an ally way I had just passed.

"Oh no, no, no, no," I said shaking my head in disapproval. "I had just been thinking that nothing exciting happens in Jacksonville. If fate is going to contradict me, something exciting must happen. You two are just creepy and, therefore, unnecessary."

The two boys looked at me as if I was nuts, which might be a good thing. I mean, who wants to rape and possibly kill an insane person? Haven't we suffered enough?!

"That hot mouth of yours says some weird things. I wonder what else it can do?"

I scoffed and backed away slightly, getting ready to run. "Nothing you would like!"

I turned sharply, about to sprint away, but my harassers must have foreseen my next move because I felt one of them grab my hand and pull me back sharply. I let out a winded gasp when I slammed into the guy's chest.

"I love when girls try to resist," he whispered in my ear, his hands groping my breast.

"Let me go!" I shouted, trying to break free. "You probably have some nasty disease with a weird name that sounds like a Greek philosopher!"

The other boy, who was standing in front of my trying to pull down my jeans stopped momentarily to think. "What?"

"Hey!" Came a deep, husky voice. "What are you doing to my girl?"

This time I stopped my struggles momentarily. "What?" I looked to my left to see a young man with longish dark hair, with handsome yet dangerous features standing close by, his hands in the pockets of his jeans and a cigarette sticking out of the side of his mouth.

The guy in front of me stood up, my jeans down to my knees by now. "Shit dude, it's Alphonso Venturi."

"Aw fuck." The groper immediately let go of my chest and backed away with his buddy. "We're sorry, Venturi, we didn't see-"

Venturi took the cigarette out of his mouth, dropped it to the ground, and squashed it under his feet. "Probably because the knucklehead forgot to wear it," said Venturi. He cocked his head to the side, revealing a clip-like silver earring on his left ear. "Come here."

I took a wild guess and figured he was talking to me. I was pretty sure he was safer to be with than my two lovely harassers and made a dash towards him. Only, I forgot that my jeans were not exactly where they were supposed to be and tripped. Somehow Venturi was close enough to reach over and grab hold of my shoulders before I could hit the ground.

I heard him let out a sigh. He pulled me closer to him and pulled my jeans up himself. I couldn't stop my face from heating up as he zippered and buttoned it as well. When he was finished he pushed me behind him and looked back at the two boys who were now cowering in fear at the entrance of the ally.

"You asswipes under anyone?" He asked.

The two boys shook their heads. "N-No," said the jean unbuttoner. "We're just two punks is all, honest."

"If we had known that she was yours, Venturi, we would have left the girl alone."

Venturi sighed. "Get out of my sigh before I decide to kill you."

The two boys let out yelps as they ran away in fear. I think they actually wet themselves.

I stood behind Venturi for an awkward moment, staring at my feet while tugging at the bottom of my Golden Heart Volunteer T-Shirt and biting my bottom lip in embarrassment. My head perked up when I noticed Venturi walk to the entrance of the ally way and picked up my bag.

"Here," he said, holding it out for me.

"Ah, thank you." I took it from him, giving him a thankful smile. "Also, thank you for helping me."

"Are you an idiot?" he asked gruffly.

"W-What?" I stuttered.

"Why the hell was a small thing like you walking out so late at night?"

I bristled. Why the hell did my sized always come up in conversation? "I didn't have money for the bus so I-"

"So you decided it was better to walk? Why didn't you just take a cab?"

I frowned and put my hands on my hips. "If I didn't have money for the bus than how would I have money for a cab?"

"You could have asked the cab driver to wait while you went into your home and got money," Venturi explained tiredly.

I opened my mouth to counter that argument but quickly shut it since he was right. "Well…it's late and I wasn't thinking straight."

"Obviously." He let out an aggravated sigh. He grabbed my hand and started to drag me away. "Come on, I'll take you home." He pulled me to a rather awesome looking motorcycle and handed me the helmet that lay on the handle bar. "Here."

I stared at the helmet for a moment. "Um…I'm pretty sure if I'm not allowed to get in cars with strangers than I'm also not allowed to get on motorcycles with strangers. Also, my mom's a nurse so she's banned me from ever riding motorcycles anyway…"

"Now you start thinking straight," Venturi muttered. "Just tell me where you live and I'll take you. I promise not to get into any accidents. You have my only helmet, anyway."

"But I-" I was effectively shut up by Venturi putting the helmet on my head. "Hey!"

"Just get on before I drag you," Venturi said while getting onto his bike.

I frowned before climbing onto the bike as well and telling him my address.

"Hold on tight," he said, revving the engine. I gently wrapped my arms around him, not wanting to violate any personal space. I let out a scream when the bike suddenly jerked into motion and was flying down the street. I held onto him for dear life, closing my eyes and trying to breathe normally.

I wish I could tell you I had been cool and let out whoops of joy and laughter as he sped through the city toward me house. I also wish I could tell you that I was C-cup instead of a B and that I weighed more than ninety-five pounds; but that's not going to happen.

I had been so scared that when we finally reached my house I was clutching onto him so tight that my knuckles were turning white, and my eyes were shut so tight that didn't even noticed I was home.

"I think you can let go now." His voice was so husky and deep that I couldn't stop the shiver from running down my spine.

"Are you one hundred percent sure?"

"Actually I'm only about eighty-seven percent sure," Venturi said, chuckling. "But that's only because I like the feel of your arms around me."

I let out an embarrassed gasp and jump off the bike, effectively causing myself to trip. I don't know if Venturi has good reflexes or is just good at being able to tell when I'm about to do bodily harm to myself, but once again he was able to grab hold of my shoulders before I was able to inflict any bruises upon myself.

I smiled up at him, though I'm not sure he could see through the sleek, black helmet on top of my head. "Thank you," I said softly, feeling a blush on my cheeks. "It was really nice of you to do…well, all that you've done for me tonight."

Venturi sighed and took the helmet off my head, smiling slightly at my bedraggled appearance. "You really don't know who I am, do you?"

I cocked my head to the side. Was I supposed to know him? Oh no! What if we've met sometime in the past and something important happened between us? What if we had a wild, passionate affair that I can't remember? Okay, that would be near impossible since I'm one of the only virgins left at Winchester Private, but still. "Should I know you?"

He gave me a crocked smile that almost made my knees buckle. He ruffled my hair. "You're adorably ignorant."

"I get that a lot," I sighed. "My name is Jacqueline Doyle, by the way." I winced at the sound of my last name and held out my hand.

His larger hand took my smaller hand. "Alphonso Venturi."

"Alphonso…" I tested the name out.

"That's right." I never knew a voice could be so sexy. I mean, you read about it all the time in romance novels, but have you ever actually heard that kind of voice? I you haven't you have got to go out and look for a boy who can use that seductive tone; it can make you shiver from head to toe.

I opened my mouth to thank him once again before going inside, but my speech was halted when I felt strong hands gently grip the back of my neck and pull my head down. My eyes went wide when my lips connected with his. It was like nothing I've ever experienced. It's not like he stole my first kiss, mind you. I'm seventeen, I've been kissed before. This kiss, however, was full of a forbidden passion that I have never partaken in before.

All the kisses before this moment were shy and innocent; the most passionate was the one I shared with Ross Harris and that was only because I tripped down a two-step stairs and fell on top of him, our mouths, both opened in shock, landed on one another.

I had no idea what to do when Alphonso's tongue snuck into my mouth and caressed the moist cavern. His hand left the back of my neck to tangle in my hair, angling my head so he could get a deeper penetration.

The moment I closed my eyes he pulled back. My eyes snapped open again and I came face to face with Venturi's gleaming dark eyes. "I'll see you around." He revved his engine, gave me a wink, and then took off down my street. I could see old lady Higgins looking out her bedroom window from across the street. When she realized she had been caught, she gave me a nasty look and disappeared.

I shrugged my shoulders and made my way into my house, the smile on my face never disappearing.

"Why the hell are you grinning like that?" Haruka Suzuki asked as she opened her locker next to mine.

"Oh nothing." I sighed whimsically. "I just met the love of my life last night."

Haruka let out a laugh. "Oh really? Who is he? If he can get you all dreamy eyed he's got to be something."

"Alphonso Venturi."

"What!" Haruka screamed, or was it a shriek?

"Man Haruka, didn't you scream enough last night?" Natale asked as she came to lean against the locker to my right. Sofia stood next to her.

"Probably not as much as you did, Nat," Sofia said, crossing her arms. "When did you get home last night anyway?"

"Around three, but that's not the point." Natale looked back at Haruka. "Why did you scream?"

Haruka looked at me in a daze. Sofia had to snap her fingers in her face for her to finally pay attention. "Oh, it's just… Do you know who Jackie likes?"

The twins shrugged. "She likes someone?" asked Sofia, laughing. "I always thought her heart belonged to Johnny Depp."

Natale wrapped her arms around me. "Aw, our little girl is growing up! Does the sound of his name just make your toes curl? Does his voice make tingles roll down your spine? Does his touch give you a sensation in-"

"You better hope not, because she says she's in love with Alphonso Venturi," Haruka interjected.

The laughter stopped. Natale grabbed my shoulders and pushed me away from her. She stared at me with wide eyes.

"What?" Sofia asked in confusion. "Venturi… How the hell do you know Venturi?"

"It was magical," I explained, holding my hands to my chest. Just remembering last night made my heart beat like a drummer who had a little too much to drink and was impersonating the Energizer Bunny. "I was walking home at midnight last night and two walking STD punks started to molest me. Alphonso," I giggled at the name, "that's what he asked me to call him, saved me and drove my safely home on his motorcycle that soon became our carriage of love."

"…Why are we nice to her?" Haruka mumbled as she stuffed a pink binder into her shoulder bag.

"Listen Jackie, Venturi is bad news." Natale shook her scolding finger at me. "He's nothing but trouble."

"Yeah," agreed Haruka. "Don't you know he's part of the-" Haruka let out a yelp when Sofia stomped on her foot.

"He's dangerous," Sofia said, glaring at Haruka who was now nursing her sore toes. "Stay away from him."

This time I glared. "How can you ask that of me? Instead of disgracing my love, you should encourage it!"

"Stupidity does not need encouragement," Natale replied, letting go of my shoulders.

"Maybe he's not so bad," Haruka said, closing her locker gently. "If he saved Jackie than maybe-"

"He saved Jackie because he probably wanted to take advantage of her in her weakened state." Natale scowled, bloodshed promised in her eyes.

"Oh please," I scoffed. "If he was going to take advantage of me, he would have done so when he kissed me."

"He kissed you?" Sofia demanded.

"Really? How was it?" Haruka asked, interested. Sofia slapped her arm. "What? Can't I be curious?"

I finished packing up my things and closed my locker. Haruka waved goodbye, saying her boyfriend was picking her up and wanted to hurry and meet him, leaving me to fend for myself against the raging twins.

"He kissed you? How….Why….What?!" I think Sofia was about to blow a brain gasket, which would stink because she's a total genius and makes our school look good. The headmaster wont be happy with me if I am the cause for the lost of Winchester's prized pupil.

"It was nothing." A lie, I know. That kiss meant so much to me. It was the fist time I had felt such passion; such heat. For the first time, though, I felt I had to lie to the Dal Monte twins.

Natale opened her mouth to reply but was stopped by Haruka's sudden appearance at the main entrance of the school, her eyes wide. "Um, maybe you guys should go out a different way," Haruka suggested, her voice frantic.

"No way!" I exclaimed, making my way past the pretty Asian girl. "I'm too lazy to walk to a different one." I walked through the doors that led to freedom and started making my way through the front courtyard to the entrance gate. I stopped dead in my tracks when I saw the reason Haruka wanted us to go another way.

Standing in front of the entrance gate, leaning on his motorcycle and talking to another boy on a motorcycle, was Alphonso Venturi.

He smirked. I just about died.

He pushed himself off the motorcycle and made his way towards me. "I knew it was you when my parents showed me the pictures," he said. As he passed, girls stared up at him in awe.

I stiffened. His parents? Pictures? That made no- Oh my god! Venturi! The influential family with no manners. They must have shown him my picture so he could find me and kill me! I knew he was to perfect to be true. He was like the fatale blossom of the Jimson Weed; he entices with his fragrance, but one suckle could very well be your last moment of reality.

I was brought out of my reverie when I felt his warm breath on my ear. "I like the uniform." I'm sure he's referring to the school uniform that Winchester requires for all students to wear. It was like any other uniform; a white button down shirt, a short navy blue skirt, knee high socks and shining black shoes. "When I think of all the things I could do with you…"

"Venturi!" Natale's voice sounded bitter and foreboding. "You're out of bounds, get out of here."

Venturi stood up straight and glanced back at Natale and Sofia. He gave them a relaxed grin and draped his arm around me. "I've just come to collect the girl."

"She's not one of your sluts, Venturi," Sofia spat, stepping towards us. "Now let go of her and leave."

"I'd back off Dal Monte." Venturi pulled me closer and started to lead me towards his bike. "I'm here on official Venturi business; you wouldn't want to get in the way, would you?"

From the look on Sofia's face, I could tell that the answer was a big fat no. As Venturi sat me atop his bike all I could think to say was, "Oh shit."

You know what to do; REVIEW.
