Sometimes You Aren't Alone
Sometimes the world doesn't see with their eyes
Swallowed in conceit, their thoughts make them blind
In a place such as this, there's no truth, only lies
What do you expect from such arrogant pride?
Sometimes you want to speak but no one will listen
In times, you will lose faith, no one to believe in
Their eyes tell a lie with each passing glisten
After all these years, something must be missing
Sometimes you feel like you don't belong
Your words just don't seem to flow with the song
The days pass by quickly, the hours seem long
You strive for acceptance, but something feels wrong
Sometimes you will be the one who always gets hurt
Betrayal will sting as you're pushed to the dirt
They'll leave you behind, deceive you at the worst
Life's not always fair and things don't always work
Sometimes you will be the one to take the hits
Striking you over again without miss
There are times when you're shown no mercy, no bliss
To you, things can't get too much more worse than this
Sometimes no one's there to show you the light
You have to stand up and win your own fights
Stay strong and stand tall, call upon all your might
There is only one who will survive tonight
Sometimes you just want to escape from it all
Without both your wings, you will stumble and fall
No one's there to save you, no one hears your calls
You can't let them break you, you build your own walls
Sometimes you feel abandoned, you're all on your own
With their selfish ignorance, how could they have known?
You don't want to get hurt after all you've been shown
There's no need to worry, you aren't alone
