She's cold and she's cruel
But she knows what she's doin'
She pushed me in the pool
At our last school reunion
She laughs at my dreams
But I dream about her laughter
Strange as it seems
She's the one I'm after

'cause she's bittersweet
She knocks me off of my feet
And I can't help myself
I don't want anyone else
She's a mystery
She's too much for me
But I keep comin' back for more
She's just the girl I'm lookin' for

She can't keep a secret
For more than an hour
She runs on 100 proof attitude power
And the more she ignores me
The more I adore her
What can I do?
I'd do anything for her

'cause she's bittersweet
She knocks me off of my feet
And I can't help myself
I don't want anyone else
She's a mystery
She's too much for me
But I keep comin' back for more
She's just the girl I'm lookin' for

And when she sees it's me
On her caller ID
She won't pick up the phone
She'd rather be alone
But I can't give up just yet
Cause every word she's ever said
Is still ringin' in my head
Still ringin' in my head

She's cold and she's cruel
But she knows what she's doin'
Knows just what to say
So my whole day is ruined

'cause she's bittersweet
She knocks me off of my feet
And I can't help myself
I don't want anyone else
She's a mystery
She's too much for me
But I keep comin' back for more
She's just the girl I'm lookin' for

Cause she's bittersweet
She knocks me off of my feet
And I can't help myself
I don't want anyone else
She's a mystery
She's too much for me
But I keep comin' back for more
Oh, I keep comin' back for more
She's just the girl I'm lookin' for
Just the girl I'm lookin' for

Just the girl
I'm lookin' for
She's just the girl
I'm lookin' for
Just the girl
I'm lookin' for
Just the girl I'm lookin' for

The first day of school, the biggest drill of my life. I mean come on who wouldn't know me. It's all because of the shit that went down last year. I'm not opening up again. Never again.

The perks of being an ice queen is that no one bothers you or talks to you unless you talk to them and when you do they nearly piss their pants.

The sea of students parted and the looks started, the whispers, the accusations all the whisperings of the piranhas that I call classmates. They gossiping sluts and whores otherwise known as the cheerleaders. Their lapdogs, the jocks. The elitists that are a step away from the jocks but their rich, seems like they got fresh meat, and then the fresh meat did something, that yes I admit shocked me, he said hi. I nodded my head toward him and walked to my locker passing the Goths, Stoners and Punks who were going on about how life was pointless. How I agree with them, but I hate being classified. Then there was the random people that was mixed and together because they were friends. Friends are pointless, people are pointless.

On that note I put on my headphones put my headphones on and continued to my locker. I opened it put everything in except for a binder and headed to my homeroom and took a seat, taking out the headphones and started a conversation with the teacher. Well the teacher was one of the people that I had not stopped taking to since the seventh grade Mrs. Sommers was my aunt and main confidant and best friend. We talked until the bell rang and the students came in.

The new boy came in and tried to talk to me but my aunt said, "It's a lost cause she talks to no one unless she has to or wants to, not even me." Good old Aunt Crystal.

"Then why was she talking to you?"

"Classwork."

"At the beginning of the year?"

"I teach at the college in the summer where she takes advanced classes." I sent her a glare for telling him so much and she sent me the shut- up- and- take- it- before- I- make- it- worse look. I just sat and grumbled.

"Oh."

The people in the hallway moved aside to reveal the prettiest girl I had ever seen. Her dark skin shoulder, length hair, and green eyes. She seemed like a hardened person her eyes were green ice and the way she moved shouted indifference along with leave me alone. When she walked by my cousin and I said hi. For a second her green eyes were shocked but then hardened as she nodded.

As soon as she passed my cousin hissed "Dude don't talk to her."

"Why?"

"Cause she's like a loser and like a totally slut and like so totally ugly. Plus she's mean to everybody. Plus why talk to her when you have like me!" My cousin's bimbo girlfriend said.

"You're a slut you ooze slut. You say like too much and you try to turn people against her, the list goes on."

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! You jerk! I am not a slut."

"First of all your voice hurts my highly sensitive ears and second you have to be a slut cause my cousin dates you. And so you know the rumor around the school is that you give a good fuck and you were giving my cousin a handjob when we were coming here and offering to anyone else. If that's not a slut then what is?"

With that said I walked off to homeroom and waited for the bell to ring by the door. As I leaned against the wall I heard voices. I look in and saw the girl from before talking to the teacher; her eyes weren't hard they were dancing with emotion. They were beautiful as was she.

I walked in as the bell rang and her eyes hardened and she didn't talk.

I tried talking to her but the teacher said, "It's a lost cause she talks to no one unless she has to or wants to, not even me." She's defensive and protective but why it's no like their related.

"Then why was she talking to you?"

"Classwork." Bull, but whatever.

"At the beginning of the year?" this should get her.

"I teach at the college in the summer where she takes advanced classes." She oozed smugness. Though cold mystery girl was grumbling.

"Oh." Well I'll dig another time.
