A slow smile played across her lips as Lydia stepped out of her office, she hated having to work so late at night, but it would all pay off when it came time to pay her rent. she glanced around. Lydia stopped, she unzipped her purse and started to rummage for her keys. She bit her lip and groaned as she realized that she might have to go back into her office just for her keys. She glanced her shoulder, trying to decide whether or not to go back or keep searching in her purse for her darn keys.

Lydia gasped and looked up, her green eyes widened and she took a step back. She was looking down the barrel of a gun.

"Give me your car keys." The man rasped.

Lydia was frozen, her grip was white on her bag and her other hand was out in the air as if she was surendering something to him.

"I... Ummm... uhhh..." She couldn't seem to form words.

"Are you retarded, woman?! I said give me your car keys!" He shouted, taking a step towards her.

She blinked and came to life, "I can't find them, I was looking for them in my purse when-!"

"Give me that!" He hissed, snatching the bag from her. "On your knees!"

She didn't move.

Lydia jumped and slowly got down on her knees, her hands starting to shake.

"Stupid pathetic retarded woman..." He muttered under his breath, dumping out the bag on the pavement in front of Lydia. He grabbed her hair, shoving her closer to the ground. "Can you find them now?" He hissed through a clenched jaw.

"Yeah." She squeaked, trying not scream.

She slowly picked them up and held them up to him. He grinned at her and then hit her upside the head with the but of his gun. Lydia cried out and her body started to go limp. The man reached down, grabbing her by her hair and dragging her towards the only car in the other wise empty parking lot. As they approached the car, he lifted her up and tossed her into the side of the car with a loud thud.

Lydia yelped and clutched her side, she was most definatly going to have a bruise in the morning. When she woke up from this horried nightmare.

He tossed the key at her and they dinged off her forehead. She yelped again, mostly out of surprise this time.

"Open the door."

Lydia puased for a moment, debating on throwing the keys right back at him, but she finally decided against it and she picked them up. She glanced at him, he cocked the gun in response. Lydia paled and nodded. She reached up to the door, inserting the key without even standing to her feet, her head spinning and she wasn't sure if she wanted to pass out or chew out the man who hit her. The lock clicked and she opened the door, starting to move away from the car. The man reached out and grabbed the back of her shirt, slamming her into the car again.

"Did I dismiss you?"

She gapped at him, confused, her knees wobbled and she almost fell to the ground.

"You're not stealing my car?" She slurred.

A grin spread across his lips and he shoved her into the car, "I am, but I'm stealing you as well."

Lydia gasped, trying to jump out of the car.

"No, no, no, Freckles," he teased, tugging on her hair. "You're coming with me."

He slammed the door closed and walked around to the other side, slidding behind the wheel. It took him all of two minutes to find out which key went to the ignition. He started the car with a grin.

"You know, Freckles, I think this could be the start of a beautiful realationship." He pulled out of the parking lot and took off down the street.
