Grey skies and a dull background. It's still raining. It's always been raining since she came. She fears the world and those who live in it. Her only solace is being out of the rain. Someday though, someday, I'll find a way to stop the rain and show her how I see the world and its people. But until that day comes, I'll just stand here and watch for signs of clearing. Someday she will be free to walk the land in the warmth of day. Someday the rain will stop.
Teary eyed, you sit holding onto the relic of your love. He swore he'd be back and you know his words to be true. And so you stay ever watchful, ever hopeful for the day of his return. Through all conditions your faith never falters or wanes. As dawn turns to dusk and dusk to dawn, you gaze, ever vigilant, into the distance knowing he will return for you.
The chains of fate that bind us all are impossible to break. But finding the love of another is as simple as reaching out your hand, and when you do, the unknown will never have looked so inviting.
Take heart, my love. Though times are down and riddled with uncertainty, do not despair. Rise in courage and strength, for I am with you. A guiding light through the dark and an angelic voice in the silence. Know no fear and fight back all sorrow. For tomorrow is the day that we shall make together.
They scoff at you; throw insults your way. They claim there's no use and that you should quit. But you breathe deep and cast their words aside, you know you're right. Somewhere there is a person out there for you, to bring you happiness. So day after day you continue to reach out towards the world in hopes that some day someone will take hold of your hand and pull you from the dark.
