Once in a while she feels normal
the avenue is fitted in lights
the sky is clear
its cold,
but its okay, shes got his hand to hold.

Its quiet, and yet busy.
The streets are full,
time is passing
and they're sitting,
by the waters edge, just staring.
Neither wants to be the first to make the move
neither wants to just let time pass.

A laugh,
a kiss,
more laughter,
comforting hugs, gentle words.
curled into one, on a park bench in town

The night ends,
She goes home.
but normal...
Once in a while.
