It was winter the night was cold but she wore naught but her sleeping gown. The silk white dress covering her from her slender shoulders and dragging behind her in a misty fog. Her snow white skin sparkled a silver hue the moon shined from through the clouds onto her majestic form as she glided through the meadow. Each flower she passed tickled her bare feet. The green grass swayed in the light breeze flowing around her like a wave of misery.
Untainted was this unloved angel.
Her blue eyes cast upon the stars, silver without a doubt. Making a silent wish she smiled lonely. A delicate hand reached out, up into the sky taking with it a dream for more.
Her blonde hair flew into a curtain around her face covering her vision. She wept as her hand fell and the wind died down, only to blow like a gentle lovers caress against her skin. A whisper escaped her half frozen lips as she began to walk forward toward a cliff which over looked the sea. An ocean with blue and dark purple waves flowing out like hands wanted to help her wash away the pain.
The thought soothed her soul.
She closed her eyes and tilted her face toward the sky, toward the silvery moon. Two hands clasped her chest feeling the faint beat of her heart. She could feel her pain flying away with the winter breeze. Like an angel she stood on the cliff, hair and gown blowing in the wind.
With a true smile on her face she spread her arms like wings, unseen, she bent gently. Her eyes closed and head still tilted she fluttered like a broken bird off the cliff. Her tears fell with her as she finally flew with the wind. Unloved angel felt the waves caress of a true lover and the only thing that night, lost...was her wings.
