Summary: "Want to bet? There is no way in hell I'll stand in your presence for another second!" The audible click made her turn around. He smiled. "Oh shit!" Enchanted handcuffs! "Feel like falling for me yet?" Her arm burst into flames. "I'll take that as a no."

Fall for me, or I'll slap a pair of enchanted handcuffs on you.

Screw logic, screw reasoning. The whole damn world could screw itself to unconsciousness as long as they took her crazy stalker with them. She did every single bloody maneuver in the book to discourage him. She wore ugly clothes, didn't take a bath (her body now hated her), didn't brush her hair and growled at anyone who approached her. She could still sense him lurking in the shadows.

Its not like her week, month or year had been any good. Frankly none of her years in the last century had been remotely decent. Not aging was nice in a weird twisted way and the immortality was growing on her. Who knew that becoming an evil damned summoning sorceress would have benefits? Of course no one thought to teach her how to use her abilities. Ruining the best night of her life. Forever.

"I really love clouds!" her ditzy summoning cried out. Destini wanted to beat the stupid ninny but she was one of the more useful summons even though it usually took the better half of the day to convince her to actually do that job. Her summoning -oddly enough- was one of the purest beings she had ever encountered. It made no sense that she, being an evil summoner, had managed to summon a being so pure. It was best not to look a gift horse in the mouth, even if this one's mouth never stopped yapping. "I mean I know heavens not there because I know heaven and its not nearly as nice as clouds are. Though heaven is nice to I suppose and there are some really cool people there. Just last week I met this lady who did administrative work in heaven, boy was she pretty!" she tried to ignore her yammering and shoved the letter into her hand.

At this rate she was never going to get her ass to the otherworldly post office.

"I asked her where she got her hair done and she showed me where this lovely beauty parlor on mains street was and I was so happy! It was kind of small but they had the nicest people ever inside! You should just see how they glow! They have real nice souls! They even refused my tip because they said that my smile brightened up their gloomy week! Can you imagine? Those friendly folk being down! I sure couldn't stand it so I fixed a little business charm to their door. I think they're going to have a nice week, this week." her blond curls bounced as she shoved her out of her apartments front door.

"I don't think you're even listening! Why are you trying to make me leave? This isn't because I said that you smelled earlier is it? I didn't mean it in a bad way! Honest! It's just that you usually bathe twice a day and you look like you haven't bathed all week and you smell. Not that I mean that in a bad way! Its just that I'm worried about you. Oh shoot! I'm not supposed to say that am I? I mean you told me before..." She put her hands on her hips and furrowed her brows in as she imitated the sorceress. "Kaela don't you ever, ever say you are worried about me not in front of anyone at all. I'll wring your neck! I'll never ever summon you again!" The thought struck her summoning. " Wait! You aren't actually going to go through with that are you? Please don't I love this place! You wouldn't... You couldn't!" Her baby blues pleaded and she clasped her hands. Destini sighed, just what she needed... An over emotional summoning who refused to do her job and babbled constantly.

"I won't as long as you deliver the bloody message!" she fumed and slammed the door in Kaela's pleading puppy dog pout. Most people wouldn't be able to resist. She just barely had enough power to resist Kaela's innocent lure. Often she wondered what it would be like to be that pure. Untouched by the worlds true evils... Kaela would never find out. She had drawn immaculate shields for Kaela's protection. However, one never knew... There may be people out there much stronger than she. Its not like they took a regular test to keep up to date on the power levels of every supernatural in the city.

Through the years she had acquired countless wealth. Plots of lands to her name and money pouring in from all directions. She should be satisfied... The only thing she had to worry about were gold diggers and world scale tipping in the balance or good or evil. Easy. Simple.

Keep lying to yourself...

Right. Still had the stalker to think about... She really did not want to have to contact her boss about this. Not after heaven and hell finally got a blood contract signed stating that they were to carry law enforcement out on both sides. No innocents were to be killed by supernatural laws. After all, only innocents could carry life because only innocents had a soul. The purer the innocent the higher the chance of her carrying to term. She sat in her most comfortable recliner with a bottle of whiskey watching the smoke of the fire rise. The faint smell of burnt chocolate made her turn around.

"M-Mistress..." the simpering sound was pitiful. Enough to make her gag. Only one of her summoning was that much of a spineless coward.

"Late. You are five minutes late." His fingers were shaking as they clutched the files. His glasses slid off the bridge of his nose. The effect made him look like more of a wimp.

"B-But I was held up at the f-fund raiser. I-It didn't go so well and w-we're worried about-" he was cut off when she slammed her bottle of whiskey on the table. She should have known... The children's orphanage...

"If you're not careful I may pay a visit myself to the orphanage of yours." He fell to his knees in an instant and bowed with his arms flat out on the floor. Disgusting...

"Anything! Anything but them!" Fool. Never admit weakness to your enemy. She snatched the fallen files and skimmed through them. She spotted a flaw in the clause immedietly.

"Fix this. I do not want to be liable for any damage this family makes to one of my properties." her brow arched as he lifted his head off the floor in protest. Its not like this was unfair in any way. After all the family could just pack up and leave, when she needed to rent it out the new tenants would not be pleased if their new place was banged up. Guess who would have to pay to do up the place?

"B-But this family is really poor! T-They barely make rent." she slapped the file down on the coffee table.

"Shut it. I want this amended. Page 23 has problems as well and the land prices in this region have increased by three percent. I want my rent doubled in this area." she pointed to the respective places in the folder.

"I-I can't remember quite so fast. I-I need a moment." he fumbled. She leaned toward him without moving from her seat. Her eyes deadly, he gulped.

"It would be unfortunate if your daughter had a painful accident that severed her legs, crippled her arms and damaged her body beyond redemption. It would also be unfortunate if she was then left suspended in the alternate plane with flames licking every inch or her skin with no one to hear her screams." the pressure appeared to work and he agreed to have everything fixed by tomorrow. He stepped through the portal frequented by her summoning and left. SDince her looking and smelling did not curb the stalker she decided now was a good a time as any to take a shower and get herself cleaned up. She took a much needed shower. Then the phone rang.

"You need to get laid." Lillia told her blatantly.

"My personal life is not business of yours." she leaned on the counter at the sound of her acquaintances voice.

"How's the stalker?" don't bring it up.

"Still watching. I'll take care of it once I get some free time on my hands." she grumbled.

"If you're that free can you babysit my little monster? He adores you!" she said nothing. "Please! The agency refuses to take my calls after his zombie ate the nanny! I neeeed some time off!" she kept silent. She heard her exasperated sigh."I'll give you a custom made serial 543998 caliber gun with thirty silver bullets."

"Fifty."

"You're driving me into the poor house! Thirty five." she met no response yet again. "Fifty and you're on your best behavior."

"Deal."

"By the way he's with you for a month." she could do no more than gape at the time. No way was that worth one gun and a couple of bullets. Even if they were hand crafted!

"What!" The phone line when dead. She glared at the phone and cussed. The twerp was okay save for his zombie summoning habits. The stupid undeads took ages to scrape off the carpet. The kid had a crush on her for Pete's sake! He couldn't stay for a month!

She had to get to a bank. The chilly winds outside raged but this did not seem to deter her stalker. His presence followed her like a hound dog. She managed to get to the bank and once she drew out five grand and put in in an envelope she stepped outside behind the bank building. She drew a quick circle in the air and mumbled the chant softly. The circle glowed for a moment before a hawk appeared. She handed the bird the envelope and smiled.

"Orphanage. You know which one." the bird let out a screech and took to the skies. She moved away from the building after stepping into something more fitting. She made light steps and ignore the admiring looks of men as she walked past and hailed a cab. It stopped before the neon sign of the Blood Bar. It catered mostly to vampires and their minions. Of course it welcomed other patrons who were up for a quick bite. She ignored the lustful stares of the other patrons and ordered the most alcoholic drink on the menu.

"You should give them a chance." the waitress had a minuscule skirt and a too tight top. She was friendly enough. Almost couldn't tell that she was a blood slave. Save for the bite marks littering her arm and neck. "Oh there's a winner. Don't mind if I get a shot at that one?"

"Be my guest." apparently he had his eye on me because he disregarded the busty waitress and came right over to sit next to her at the bar. He was pretty tall and handsome. If she had been looking for someone he would have been one of my first choices. Too bad really.

"Are you in love with me?" She spat her drink onto his face. Startling about seventy percent of the patrons who weren't drunk or making out. Covering my mouth with a hand to stifle the laughter that wished to burst from her lips.

"That is the worst pick up line I have ever heard." she didn't bother to apologize for spitting her drink in his face and he did not seem to phased about it. He merely wiped his face with a handkerchief. He was obviously not a vampire. If he was he would have tried to bite and suck the life out of her for disrespecting him like that.

"You will fall for me." Typical arrogant male. Meets her for five seconds and thinks she'll fall at his feet just because he looks hot. It was his eyes that got her. He was so sure of himself. It was then she glimpsed it. Wings and the pure essence of light. What did it mean?

"Want to bet! There is no way in hell I'll stand in your presence for another second!" The audible click made her turn around. He smiled.

"Oh shit!" Enchanted handcuffs. Why did he have those? What was his problem?

"Feel like falling for me yet?" Her arm burst into flames and her hair stood on end. She bared her teeth at him and cursed a blue streak.

"I'll take that as a no."
