Scott, Danni, Dev, Andi, Josh, Tyler, Dia, Jessie, Sam, Luke, J.J and I were all in my back garden. We each had out replies from the various universities, we decided to open them together, once we got our replies. Scott and I both applied to Brown, along with Andi and Josh. Dev and Danni both applied to go to Dartmouth. The rest applied to other colleges. It was hard to think that after this summer we'd be going to college. It was…heart-breaking to think that we wouldn't see everyone, I was actually going to miss all the preppy cheerleaders, the jocks, the Goths, the punks, the stoners…just everyone!
This summer symbolised the end of an amazing journey, and the start of a new one. I clutched onto my reply from Brown. I had replies from other universities too, some rejection letters and some acceptance letters, but Brown was the only University Scott and I both chose to go to. I slowly started to peel the envelope open, the rest of them followed suit.
Dear Miss James, We at Brown are pleased to say that you have been accepted into Brown…
That was all I needed to read before I started screaming. Slowly there were yells from all of us. I looked over at Scott. "Brown baby!" He said smirking. I grinned and he pulled me in for a kiss but we were stopped mid-way when Andi screamed.
"I got into Brown!" she shouted. I grinned as she compared with Josh. Andi got into the university she's always wanted to go to. I was so happy for her.
"Brown," Josh whispered. "I got into to freakin' Brown!" He yelled. Only he didn't say freakin' if you know what I mean, wink, wink.
"Guys?" I asked Dev and Danni hopefully.
"Dartmouth." Danni grinned at Dev. Dev hugged her.
"Both of you?" I asked.
"Yup!" Danni said. Tyler and Dia both applied to go to NYU, which was far away, but at least they were together. They'd gotten their replies earlier. Sam was going to Julliard. She was an amazing pianist. It wasn't a surprise to us when she got her reply back saying that she had been accepted. Luke, Jessie and J.J were all going to Yale. It was great to see that everyone had at least one person they knew going with them. I wanted everyone to have at least one person they knew, so they could share the scary journey of college. I looked around me, all my friends smiling, laughing, happy. I looked up at Scott who looked down gazing deep into my eyes, a small smile on his lips.
This moment was the moment I was looking for. Here we all were happy and in love. (Well, most of us.) And the best bit was, I was in love. The moment I searched for my entire life was here.
I wanted a moment where I was surrounded by everyone I loved.
I wanted a moment that was special.
I wanted a moment to have so I can look back and say I'm was love then.
I wanted a moment I could have for the rest of my life, and right then, I found my moment.
This was it, this was the beginning to the rest of our lives. I know that seems really stupid and cheesy to say, but it was true. It seemed like we'd waited our entire lives for this one moment, and now it was here, it was sad to say goodbye, but we all knew that day would come.
Who knows, maybe we'll all end up back in my back yard some day, sharing the new lives we started. Just maybe…

Sequel - Well, right now it's a no. I think that Scott and Eden's story is over, I mean I could write about life after college, but I'm too inexperienced with life, seeing as I am only 15, lol. BUT, and yes there's a but, let me know what you think. Should I do one on Andi and Josh? You know because of the whole match make? Or someone that isn't so mentioned in the story, like J.J. and Sam? OR I could totally do something like One Tree Hill, you know, a five years later thing…who knows!? Anywho, let me know what you think! :D
